X-rays and Supers cost full meter, so not only could you not do one again if you missed or it was blocked, you now had no meter for breakers or EX specials. FBs are 10X better than supers and especially X-rays.

Yeah. They're a "better" Blueshell that serve no purpose competitive-wise except to give a player potentially something they didn't deserve. The player gets an auto-combo that does over 1/3 of the health bar for getting their ass kicked and unlimited tries...for getting their ass kicked.
