EVO - UKvsUS 5v5 Donation

What's up? Do you guys need a streamer or recorder for this event? Or is this something to do with Evo main event? What do you guys need?
Just so you know, Evo staff is going to be extremelyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy busy leading up to this so I would try to keep bothering them (unless necessary) to a minimum

They want to know if its possible to announce the USA vs UK event through EVO to bring MK more exposure, hype, since its already has a 20K Pot Bonus. Make it a attraction for EVO, correct?

We need space and a setup to do this mega hype 5 on 5 besides packing in a crowd in a hotel room.

Better to hit up Wiz now than later about it. he's going to be overwhelmed soon. especially considering they have already announced events. IMO you should totally not get your hopes up and put a backup plan into place just in case.

That being said I would love to see this. but everyone knows how big MK at evo was last year..fucking huge. SO HUGE THAT a 500 man MK9 tourney felt like a SIDE TOURNEY. LOL

Last I heard Medina4life was not going to bring his stream equipment to EVO. However I heard BeerGuyEd might.

There is no way they'll let us use MK tournament setups for a side event. They run a tight ship. This should be the day that MK pools are not run, either Friday or Saturday. So there wouldn't be any MK setups anyway. The concern with BYOC area is that it is limited and fills up very quickly. We'd have to have someone out there early to set it up and keep it occupied. We'd probably have to do it in the morning then. I agree if we can do it there it's the ideal location.

I'd love to commentate it with Tom.


REO what do you have to say about all this

I'm currently debating whether or not to bring my equipment. There is going to be bus going from Chicago to Las Vegas and I might have a mobile stream ON the bus which will mean I will have my equipment. I am not a 100% whether or not I will be on the bus though, I hope so because it will be free

OK, GGA is 100% bringing streaming equipment to EVO. I just got off the phone with GGA Jeremiah so that will happen. I will contact Wiz right now and see what is possible. Preferably it will be at the venue but the chances of that are extremely slim. Also, I will work on this and coordinate everything with the participants to make sure everything runs smoothly. As soon as we can figure out the date, time and location I will make a new post explaining it. I am relying on Osu 16 Bit to hype this event up.

Next Saturday at Season's Beatings I am going to announce a MK related raffle that will raise some funds for my endeavors so stay out on the lookout for that. Any suggestions as to what I can do to make this a more enjoyable experience would be appreciated and you better believe that I'm going to work hard to make sure this goes down as professionally as possible.

*I don't want to pay to bring my monitor, will anyone have an ASUS VH23 that I can use for the event? I'm also going to need any PC monitor to run the stream. I'm not sure if the plane will allow it as carry on though, I doubt it so need some help there.
