Since Ian doubts his abilities (he has no reason to, he's a good player) and has made an immense donation to the cause, perhaps you guys could give him some level up sessions when you have some free time?

I can't speak on behalf of anyone but he's dug very deep in his pockets and I can't think of anybody better than you both to give help with fundamental play.

Just an idea. Don't tase me bro.

Hmm. Who has pledged a donation but has yet to donate? If you guys were still thinking of opening a few viewing spots up for the top donors, I could likely dig into my pocket for at least another $100. I really want to see this go down and will do all I can do make it happen for you guys.

Like Mr. trustinme up there, I'm mediocre at MK9, but top tier at my job haha.

What we should do is ask Medina if he can stream it for us, and steal a set up on one of the days in the MK area. There is BYOC there right? So we could even make our own.

Then have you and Brady commentate or something like that.

I think its more fair that everybody can see it, rather than just the people watching on the stream. Thats assuming the donation drive reaches the goal in time, still roughly $600 off

Last I heard Medina4life was not going to bring his stream equipment to EVO. However I heard BeerGuyEd might.

There is no way they'll let us use MK tournament setups for a side event. They run a tight ship. This should be the day that MK pools are not run, either Friday or Saturday. So there wouldn't be any MK setups anyway. The concern with BYOC area is that it is limited and fills up very quickly. We'd have to have someone out there early to set it up and keep it occupied. We'd probably have to do it in the morning then. I agree if we can do it there it's the ideal location.

I'd love to commentate it with Tom. :cool:

Has anyone actually reached out to Mr. Wizard and prodded about this? Considering the recent pot bonus being thrown in by sponsors, the community outpouring for MK that has kept it alive and gotten it into Evo in the first place, and the hype that is built up for MK in general... he may be willing to help us coordinate something, despite the late notice? Can't hurt, right?

Foxy, what is the cutoff date for you guys raising that last $600?

Good idea, and probably about a month, the closer it gets to EVO the more tickets will cost I think

Just so you know, Evo staff is going to be extremelyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy busy leading up to this so I would try to keep bothering them (unless necessary) to a minimum

We need space and a setup to do this mega hype 5 on 5 besides packing in a crowd in a hotel room.
