ESL League, The tournament standard, and the problem for pad players.

The problem with the CronusMax is that, aside from reports that it damages USB ports, it doesn't have a dedicated tournament mode, which is the main thing keeping it from being tournament legal.
But that's only for offline tournaments, right? And how does it damage ports?

Hey everyone, J Rosa here. I've been highly anticipating the release of MK X and with the new ESL league I'm pretty excited. One problem, it's on x box one. I had mistakenly thought the community agreed on PS4 being the standard, ESPECIALLY with the ability to use ps3 sticks on a ps4 but to my surprise x box one And pc will be the standard for this e league. Why? I'm not sure. But it sure seems to me Mk x wants to milk the most money out of us possible. I don't think it's right for all the players who have been saving for a ps4 for this game, finally got one, and now have this news shoved in their face. But I digress. With this new league, it's apparent I must find a way to convert the ps4 pad over to the one (are the chronos pro fight even legal at this point?) I'm looking for thoughts on the whole situation, input, and perhaps some sort of game plan. Release is 2 weeks away. The league starts May 3rd. Can we use our collective voice to make a difference or am I the only one with feelings on this? I can go buy an Xbox one today and spend another 500 on Mk x...but should I really have to? Thoughts?
P.s. I'm getting wisdom tooth surgery right now and it sucks.
I know Im resurrecting an old thread but how do you think xbox players felt for the last 2 games before MK X? It never made since to me considering the ps3 had frame rate problems during xrays. Oh well, atleast most events are using the PS4. It seems like the right choice for xbox to have online covered(PSN is not the place to be for mp). Good luck at those Majors bro!

PSN's online performance is pretty underwhelming. I just bought a third copy of MKx for PC and so far its performing better than the PS4 in online modes. That being said I havent spent enough time with the PC version to draw any real conclusions. I do feel more than comfortable saying MP is a lot smoother on the One than the PS4 though. Graphically, the PS4 seems to be a TINY bit more crisp than the One, but neither compare to the PC in that department.

I've played a lot on both PS4 and PC, and the PC is consistently closer to unplayable connection-wise. The PS4 has been great.

The PC version is indeed unplayable in regards to online-play. The latest patch at least allows me to play the single player without crashing. Let's see what this next patch does.. PC players add me!
