The Break's gameplay made up for the lack of quality Evo play from many players. Ill try and bring Philly out very soon. Good shit to KDZ; as well as Revolver, very fun to watch!

Btw, everyone forgets Grundy does Supes corner damage midscreen lol.

Arma lost because he didn't just play safe: He got scared and began jumping at awkward times.

As for the two combos last match, I did a -
59% trait and meter combo,
a 36% meter combo, and
a 43% trait + Meter combo

What kind of damage are you complaining about here? I can name 10 characters that can do 58% or more damage off of one meter, some even without the corner.

BATMAN can do more that 43% with meter and trait than I did there.
36% for a meter combo is low by anyone's standards.

Your point doesn't stand man. You make no sense. You just dislike the character, get over it.

I'm getting better at Batman but I wish I could do over 40% consistantly with him on my combos. Usually i get 38-39% and I thought that was good. Looks like I gotta level up hard.

I dislike Superman, but I respect KDZ's ability. Good matches from The Break this week. Let's see some new characters/tech challenge the throne! Where my Flash at?

grundy does stupid damage lmao (played showtime's grundy, and he was on point with his setups and punishes). I think ppl hate that superman's combos are easier then smoke/ rax resets but that is beside the point. Ppl got to learn ways to deal with superman before the next evo, KDZ, i'm coming for you!!!!!.

I don't dislike the character, I reckon one character had to be the overall best. I've spent quite some time studying the match up to come up with ways to better deal with his pressure and zoning.

Downplaying the character doesn't make him any less good. I know there are other characters that can do (raw) damage around the same range with 1 bar: Black Adam (he's 2nd best in the game), Flash (trait + bar), Ares (trait + corner), Shazam (trait+corner), Sinestro (full trait+corner). However, with the exception of BA, none of them can do said combos on the spot because either their trait have a much bigger cooldown, lack better mobility, or can't readily activate the trait mid combo.

It is what it is, but let's not pretend the character lacks the tools to dominate the metagame.

He doesnt lack the tools to dominate. That being said he isn't unfair at all! I can do 50% on ANY touch I do! i have a high low mixup. i have a better spacing game! I don't lose to Superman, I'm losing to KDZ.
