I dont see any problem in getting anything you want as long as you put some time into the game. Im like around 150 hours in and got almost everything beside few very rare cosmetics. I dont see any point in spending cash for it unless you're some casual and want everything right away.

So imo - its good atm.

Considering the incident with EA's microtransaction, everyone had negative thoughts about this. As long as they avoid the real money in microtransaction, IMO, it's a good thing. Thanks to the real money, every country, including Belgium, was discussing about what to do with it and how they would act towards it. This is why I wanted the thoughts of everyone, including you, on that matter.

Anyone who did that is a utter moron considering that's two completely different things, and the fact microtransactions have been aids since well before the recent EA incident.

Meanwhile, why don't you play other games outside of FGC to take a break before going down to DBFZ? I'm just doing the same while waiting for my CE.

Apparently, I know everybody is having DBFZ withdrawals. I mean, i know i need my damn fix! So what Uncle JBeezY decided to do is post my progression up until the release date. I recorded ALOOOOOT of footage, so i just condensed my level up matches and later will show my dirtiest matches when i just maul suckas!

Watching all this footage is NOT HELPING the hype. Even watching Perfect Legend’s stream is increasing hype levels (he got the game early. Probably some weird 13-0 sympathy).

Going to a local tournament Saturday. Kinda sucks to know some will have been playing it for nearly a week, but it’s not like I’m going there to win. Experience and fun B O Y Z!

Some people just don’t understand. As a huge DBZ fan, and as a huge fighting game fan, people like me have been waiting for a game like this since forever.

How the hell does PL have the game early and allow to stream it on twitch lol? I thought he was with stream me?

At this point they don't care coz too many people have the game, that or Namcops gave the ones with legit early copies the ok (Immortal is a good example as he said he can talk about the game on monday) so I'd assume whatever embargo they had is now done.

Also I'm leaving to get my copy in an hour or so. If you guys wanna see something specific or want something tested let me know.

Twitch = Good connection and non-laggy for the whole world.
Stream.me = Bad connection and way laggy for those non-Americans.

He most likely got a copy from Bandai and had the NDA or whatever lifted yesterday like @Immortal. He was involved in several exhibitions and stuff (for some reason) so they all probably got an early copy.

I think all of these people should be banned from tournaments for a month or so.

so i had some concerns early in beta, ultimately i gave the beta a shot and played like 15+ hours each day lol. i had fun but i do still have some concerns, ultimately i dominated pretty heavily and just based on that i guess i'll keep playing. i've never played anime games before but honestly i won a lot lol.

it's just now letting me post beta clips so i thought i'd post this, i don't see any nappa footage anywhere and i messed with him for a few hours one of the days. it's pretty funny so i thought it might be interesting to post:

again i'm not an anime player but it seemed pretty simple. it was definitely fun, but i do still have concerns. we'll see i guess.

however i don't have concerns about a lot of other stuff i was curious about beforehand. i think the overall mechanics are interesting and should allow for depth, i think the lack of individual character depth is not that relevant.

i do think there was a pretty big balance difference between the beta characters in terms of normals. krillin actually is sort of ridiculous, but his normals seemed so bad to me that he wasn't really usable. his level 1 super damage is completely insane tho when you spend more meter on it. look at this:

still you just pick gohan tho lol. i never really put time into 18 and i think she's probably good. cell was very very good because of all around normals, utility and of course his assist. goku was also good because he wasn't laking in any big area and his assist was super versatile and had lots of applications. gohan just because he kills everyone if you pick him.

i think projectiles that can't be super dashed thru will be a big difference maker between characters. characters that don't have it better have something to compensate, which i think most characters probably will have but who knows. as much as i have every intention of maining nappa 100%, i'm pretty sure his "projectile" can be super dashed and that would mean he probably sucks because he'll rely too much on assists. if it sounds like i'm jumping too far ahead as the game isn't even out yet, it's because i am absolutely doing that and i'm already campaigning for nappa buffs. day 1 patch if not sooner.

Nappa looks amazingly strong. Needing assists to work doesn't make you a bad character, you have assists to use them. It just means you can't fill your team up with characters like this. Try to move as much weight as you can with Nappa at the start of the match. He will be able to do silly things.

no it's not the needing assist part, it's the fact his projectile can be super dashed thru. if he had gokus projectile, for example, he could assist, plant green man, harass with projectile, assist, etc. he deserves that at least, as well as better damage and more green men on screen at the same time. i expect day 1 buffs or i'm done with this game.
