In the past 30 mins or so, it seems every match I’ve been getting hella lag spikes with green bar connections. So I got off and see streamers getting the same thing. Anyone else getting laggy matches right now?

Nah I don't think it does. I'm looking at a Frieza clan ranked guy who has the same coloured square as me right now. I'm guessing maybe its win percentage or something.

It’s win percentage for sure, but also I think it could factor in the quality of those wins. I do know it doesn’t have anything to do with BP or your rank title.

I wanna say the more non-auto combo shit you do the quicker the square upgrade happens, winrate is a factor too I'm sure.

50+ hours into a beta, I'm done till the full release for now lol. It's 6:30am here and I've been playing almost all day.. Got to supreme kai on the very last set.

I'd probably still be saibaman if it weren't for Frieza's godly anti super dash tools, man everyone mash that shit like there's no other moves in their arsenal. Carried by Frieza's 5H and Saucer special 100%.

WOOOO OOOOO! Finally made it to Android! But Uncle JBeezY noticed something...I faced somebody in the same rank as me but their square was green....OOOO another match! BRB

*sigh*

Well....at least Uncle JBeezY made it to Android and beat a Supreme Kai ;)

So got more information on the square levels and what the criteria are.

It’s based on a number of factors.
- Your win%
- Opponents you've defeated win%
- Opponents who have defeated you win%
- And typically the other players ranking as well, streaks etc.

It's actually really complicated but basically you can kinda tell the strength of an opponent, regardless of the game mode based on the square.

Typically, they work like this with Pink being the highest, light blue being the lowest, and white being unranked:

Pink = A
Orange = B
Yellow = C
Light Green = D
Green = E
Blue = F
Light Blue = G
White = Undetermined

I noticed that those coloured squares got names. If you go to your status, you'll see all info about you, even your real nick. This is where you can see the name of each colour.

Very interesting....I'll take the C since i played less than everybody. I wonder if ....the ranks from the beta will carry over into the full game. THATS the million dollar ?Question?

So the combo systems reminds me of Killer instinct with auto and Manuals. You actually want to switch between the two. I did testing last night on how to prevent auto combo from light by holding back. Then did testing of manuals with jump cancels. This actually feels a lot like BB and GG if you played that but much easier.

It kinda does feel a tad bit like Marvel's staircase combo mechanic but WAAAAAY more simple. Altho, im still trying to do the shit lol.

I was a D rank but I only got about 60 matches TOTAL (ranked + casual). And about 11 rage quits/disconnects that I for sure would have won.

Really excited to learn this game basically from scratch and try out all the characters in training mode. Idk what to do right now, I don’t have DBFZ to play or watch... like everything else is boring me to tears right now.

The struggle will be REAL for a whole week! But....i did hear Dissidia has their open beta on until Sunday if you wanna try that out.

Doesn’t seem appealing to me. I mean I might love it but meh. I know it isn’t really a FF game but never been a fan of FF so just really not interested tbh.
