I think Clayface would be awesome for the fact that he could change his limbs into whatever he wants, could turn into a puddle of clay could do grapples from a distance. Even could do like a Shang Tsung soul steal type of move where he copies his opponent, since he could do that afterall.

Plenty of people know who he is, you're just the only one who wants him in this game lol. Sorry, not trying to be rude. He's not a popular character, for many legitimate reasons. The only thing going for him is his one-time history of being the first official villain the League faced. And being non-humanoid is not in his favor.

EDIT: Unless this is some really elaborate shtick thing you've got going on, and this is all just a really persistent joke... In which case, carry on.

For me the choices are clear:

Black Manta:
He is just one kick-ass villain who doesn´t get any respect and this is an opportunity on DC´s side to make people forget the 70´s Aquaman and Villains, also I think he could have a really cool moveset.

Zatanna:
She has some real potential, for once she is hot... and can do awesome magic.

Swamp Thing:
Well, I am a fanboy of the series.

and maybe Atrocious for obvious reasons.

I completely agree with this.

The only thing making it unlikely for me is that the team has discussed roster balance as very important to them. So at least one of those characters will have to be on the villain side, with Lobo. So as much as that would be perfect, I don't think it's likely as of this pass. :/

I'd settle for any Flash or Aquaman villain though, at this point, in place of Fate. It's not fair that they get left out.

I agree with everything except the "sell better" part. Mortal Kombat sold because of 90's pop culture success and the blood and gore. For injustice, most people won't recognize two thirds of the cast.

Keep in mind that Injustice pulls in the fans of MK being from the same studio all while it has all the comic book fans coming over as well so it hits 2 demographics while MK only hits one.
