Question - Inferno Did netcode nerf Inferno?

D4->F2 = unblockable. Ice Clone = unpunishable.
The Inferno hype started when @YOMI MITYEAP used him at the first Fatal 8 exhibition and should have died there. The only thing it had going for it with the damage output, but Hellfire has always been the better variation.

One could argue that Hellfire and Ninjutsu are even now, but I still think Hellfire edges Ninjutsu out.

Am i the only one who still encounters ermacs online, who do the legendary d3 infinite? D3 still jails into d1, d3, f4, b3, and b1. :DOGE

This was a joke made on stream because of how Inferno isnt bad, but its not how he was being played. He was being played as a vortex character with 50/50s that continue the vortex. Also as a zoning character with "mix ups" between low and OH minion. Then the new netcode happened and no longer was F4/B3 a mix up and no longer did low/OH minion work. So the joke was that Inferno players would think he got nerfed because the netcode was fixed lol.

Funny thread. Nodoby should believe that the new netcode is the main reason of the bad inferno status.
However, it is even worse now thats for sure. :)

I started playing mkx with inferno at last summer (after the big nerf) and it was quite fun/easy to execute for a starter player. It caused much trouble to my friends who started playing with me.
Then off course I realized the weaknesses and I liked Ninjutsu more anyway. :)

My friends still hate inferno even NOW and I am not allowed to play with him. RISE! LOL.
(Next time we play I will pick him lol. I know I will lose but rise will be fun if catches.)

That's what being a Scorpion player is all about. I'm disappointed by the lack of Infrared I see though, like isn't that the point of picking this character? :S Infrared skin + shit connection + stupidity = online Scorpion

The online experience wouldn't be the same without us

Who do you think is worse? Please don't say something like, Fisticuffs Cage, or another character who has a weak variation, but is good regardless.

I see that Mitsuownes liked your post, who is obviously credible when it comes to Inferno. However, I still think he's among the worst characters in the game. Not an opinion i'm ready to back off of, my friend.

I think Mystic Ermac gets a mention here. Inferno's projectiles at least have massive reward so full screen they aren't useless, Mystic has like nothing going for him

but yeah outside of that he is pretty bad, shit like Brood Mother DVorah and Hat Trick Lao and Ancestral Jin at least have amazing buttons to compensate which Scorp does not

I play scorpion and I have a pretty solid connection, never have used the infrared skin and have never used inferno. But yeah scorpion definitely has the worst representation online for the most part :/

I think NRS made the "Infrared" skin, just so that A**hole scorpion mains can download all their shitty movies and porn and watch netflix with connections shittier than mine, and they invite all their friends to their houses and use the scorpion main's crappy ass internet and download even more porn then they can pick the infrared skin and then they play online.

P.S Don't forget to use wi-fi, this was a tutorial on how to annoy the shit out of your online opponent with infrared scrub-pion. :)

There is this online raiden who i jabbed out of the air, and then he went to the bottom of the King of the Hill and was raging on the microphone like:

"ITS THE LAG"

lol dude, if you're feeling laggy then the feeling is mutual, if is lagging for you, is lagging for me too haha.

Anyway as far as this online goes, one bar is laggy but still playable to a better level than the previous netcode did, and with 2 bars i was mostly like playing on a TV lag rather than just netcode lag, still even with this level, i punished everything that is punishable offline, including thigh windows, crossups, trip guards and random uppercuts.

I quickly realized the raiden player was just salty and giving excuses, Inferno Scorpion is no different.

I have seen people with good records, but when I play them I feel they are really scruby. For example, they yolo roll with mileena constantly or they yolo teleport with scorpion a lot, they never break or use enhanced moves in order to save up meter to do xrays which they probably think is the best move in the game. I believe the previous netcode was helping this people get their wins. One of these scorpion players told me he felt the old netcode was better because he feels slower. I am guessing its probably because he can no longer jump away or uppercut after a blocked teleport ;)

I switched the connection indicator to ms. until 200 ms it is very good which might be 2 bars at maximum (yellow).
It is much better than it was before.

With the old netcode I suffered from the latency much with my internet connection. Now there is no bad match just in special cases.
Most matches are around 110-130 ping which is perfect for playing. With my friends in the same country it is 60-70 and the difference for feeling is not significant.

Balanced Kenshi is way worse off. I would switch all my time and dedication in balnced to inferno is a heart beat.
