How punishable? Noob's projectiles are negative on hit.
I think the frame data (from memory, haven't looked in a while) said -30ish? I'm assuming that's up close on hit. it's just way to long to be useful as zoning. good combo extender though :)

It's funny once you the jump 3 in action and check the frames on his probe and lance blast you tend to gravitate towards that play style. I myself ended up playing like this.

I'm more interested in his mine setups and armor setups.

And you can whiff punish it from full screen with any fast move. 18 frames on a jumped shadow, 21 on a blocked one. :S

Edit, you can't duck combo extensions lol. Like I said, stupid combos for some pretty good damage seems fair to be - on hit for a normal one(she's not even a Zoner too)

WW still has all the tools to win she's just not derp friendly. shields are more for countering dashes and jump ins more so than zoning. IMO tho sword stance is stronger than ppl give it credit.

I don't know man. I feel like batman can zone out lex. Batman with meter and trait is a big problem.

Brief breakdown on Lex:

- Lance Projectile is advantage point-blank on block. Gives enough advantage full-screen to safely set-up a Probe on block.

- Probe has many ways to set up into. Probe conditions players to either block or panic to avoid the shot. If they are conditioned to block, Lex can come in with his overhead (f+heavy) or low (b+light, hard) 50/50 that leads into death combos. If they panic and try to get hasty, Gravity Pull (d,b+medium) should catch them.

- Jumping hard is one of the best jumping attacks. It can be hit-confirmed into his tackle (b,f+medium) at any range including max range.

- Charge (b,f+medium) sets up a hard knock-down in which the opponent cannot roll after. Pretty solid whiff punisher, too. This is easy probe or mine set-up on hit. Can also be used in the air to maneuver.

- Mine (d,d+hard) is solid tool that acts as an obstacle. It can cause people to jump over to try and get in, force them to wait it out, or keep them from going near your "X marks the spot". It is very versatile and can make the opponent feel uncomfortable when used right.

- Orbital Strike has great synergy when used with Probe for a guaranteed unblockable hit that jails on block when executed properly. Meter burn version has the ability to set up resets that launch the opponent to further extend on traps.

- Trait is spectacular for his foundation. You can end all combos into trait for armor abuse. Having armor and doing things like jump-ins or Charge to make it harder to punish are just a few of many ways to make use of his armor.

This is just scratching the surface on the character. There is much more.

The ability to land a hit and start a combo is more valuable than having long combos or extensions. Take it from the Iron Fist player. Mr. Fist could kill without even digging deep into his tech, but if you cant start your offense consistently, and punish consistently and most importantly CONTROL your opponents options well you will not be seeing your character take off.

I can see Lex once he is unlocked being a legit threat out there because he can do all that.
