If they keep jumping, you're not giving them a reason to NOT jump. If someone is jumping a lot, try to note it as early as possible and figure out a way for your character to punish jumps. The only way to make them stop is to make them pay for it, and if they keep doing, it's an easy win for you once you get it down.
