Question - Cyber Sub-Zero Cyber Sub Hotfix nerf

So 1112 got nerfed and apparently you can't do bomb vortex after 1112. but it seems like you still can with other strings and normals. and dive kick is punishable but still hits overhead. I personally still think he's strong

I agree. his corner game evolves around mind games now. his corner pressure was blockable tho. but yeah fair nerf

How about using his 212 string instead of 1112 for an ender? 212 is a super good knockdown for Cyrax, but probably has different properties for CSZ.

Could you end with a NJK for the bomb setup?

yeah you can do njk for a bomb. you sacrifice damage but hey why not go for the vortex

f2 ender still woks for a vortex and his other strings as well except 1112. 1112 is oficiallly dead. yeah you have to special cancel bomb for certain strings now

the special cancelling is useless cus literally every launcher other than b3 makes it so you can't special cancel

Don't have the hotfix yet but patch notes said F2 hit advantage was changed too. There was really no reason to nerf that move.

Idk what they did to his F2, but it literally has all the same properties (even the reverse KND midscreen). I think they might have actually improved the knockdown so that cyber sub would still have the corner vortex (slightly less damaging) and cyrax wouldn't.

IIRC (don't have the game on right now) you can but if they've been frozen during the combo the bomb won't show up. Of course for this scenario it's still the same but I think I remember canceling 212 (droned) into bomb when I was toying with him.

You're the one who must not know CSZ, because you CAN do that in combos. Just not if you've already frozen your opponent.

You're right. So a combo starting in B3U4 xx Dive Kick can end with 111 xx Bomb. But bombs send the opponent in frozen state so you can only do it once.

Not worth it since you can do 4 xx Ice Ball, Drone Kall into NJK anyway. Or F2 if the hit advantage didn't get castrated

Tbh F2 still keeps the vortex thankfully by the looks but we lose some damage and the timing has shifted a bit on the juggle, but if I can keep getting the vortex i'll work with it.

They said the hit advantage on F2 was adjusted. I'm certain that F2 had less advantage than 1112 before, so maybe they increased it as a trade-off?
