why should it be merged? this is a bug since Tanya release only on xbox one. if its not heard they wont fix it. i haven't been able to play online for weeks. This should be stickied everywhere. even on ed boons forehead. if they dont give a shit idk why i do. fix this before i snap the disc fucking nrs blaming connection

It's a bug, maybe. But you're waiting 2-5 minutes just to play in lag disguised as 4 bars.

Packaging the two together might get both more noticed.

Does your MK start making a really loud, weird, glitchy sound then just crash, resulting in either the game shutting down, the console freezing completely or the console just turning itself off? Cause yeah that's happening to me too.

im so angry i could quick scope boon im desprate now i even bought tanya bundle thinking it whould have a effect over 2 weeks ive complained its discusting service I MEAN 2 WEEKS WTF

I havent been able to play online in weeks. The xbox one version of this game is shit, it crashes all the time too for me, loud ass buzzing noise and it just crashes. Idk wtf to do, nrs really dropped the ball this time.

Glitchy sound only some times after going back in after the console was in standby, but never had the game or the console crash after that. In terms of stability the game has been almost perfect, just one or two crashes on cold starts, otherwise just this online bug.

Can this thread be merged with the netcode one?

Different issues. This is purely about [lack of] connection rather than gameplay related. Right now i'd be happy with some input delay, at least i'd be able to play. While at times it may not seem like it i'm sure the NRS team is aware of the issues related to their input delay netcode, unfortunately it seems there's only so much that can be done to make it better. Connection issues is something else entirely.

3/ why does it work normally sometimes, but otherwise give the long wait times?

Can you provide a link or at least explain more clearly?

This is bullshit. We are on the correct version. Otherwise we wouldn't have Klassic Scorpion nor be affected by the changes. I wouldn't have found NJP after F412 xx Elbow Dash nor 34 xx Poison Gas, F412 link with Reptile if I was still on the previous patch

Dear NRS,

As you guys know, tonight was an ESL night and because of this stupid bug my first opponent couldn't connect to your online infrastructure.
The guy hard reset his console more than once and he still couldn't connect, I even have video on my phone as proof. I feel really bad for the guy because in the end everything happened so fast, while he knew nothing about the situation with me and ESL (he got a loss without playing damnit).

I also lost my match against the next opponent, I was still pissed off about the whole situation and that messed with my mind. But that loss I'll take on me, as it was me that got fed up (even threw my controller away after, lol, and I almost never rage, at all)...

It is time you guys acknowledge this bug in public! I'm sure that we weren't the only ones experiencing this bs.
Please apologize to the other player as it is a mk related bug that cost him the match, he couldn't even play... It's not because these tournaments are free to enter that you can ignore these bugs and the players affected.

It's time to end the fucking trolling and become serious about this whole online situation imo, but that is just my opinion.
Judging from the symptoms players have with this bug, I conclude it is about the same bug that was present in MK9 (psn) online. I had the bug and it made MK9 online unplayable to this date - even the PSN DL edition didn't work anymore. I bought a 360 so I could play the game online again.

And yes, the conclusion I can make out of these situations, is that we are the dumb people that keep on buying the bs you guys try (and it works) to sell us. Maybe you guys should start in the pharmaceutical or weapon industry. Their big clients spend way more than us, the working people.

No! This has nothing to do with netcode. This is an issue with connecting to thne matchmaking servers. When this issue doesn't happen the netcode is still ass so the two are pretty unrelated.

Also, this happened to me Friday night again after a week on not having the issue. But it didn't happen as often. Saturday morning it was gone again.

I have wild speculation and theories about what's going on here with Azure (I do this stuff for a job) but they really wouldn't help anyone so I'll keep my mouth shut.

have your friend get on with you.. have him check the bars before entering match. bet he has different bars showing than you!

my freinds did. i seen 3 green and they seen 1 red and vice versa... yellow green and so on.

half the shit i input online goes to another match besides mine... (11111111....1 finally. 12,12,12,12,12, fuck it uppercut. df1 1111111111111 that should detonate that fing grenade... basically my normal online match.

Thank you for that. Have been meaning to do the same so people actually understand what the issue is. Although 5min wait at connecting to online screen pretty much explains it.

At this stage the most annoying thing is that there is just silence, no official or even non-official response from NRS or WBgames about this, nothing on the WB forums either - that is what stinks. Right now i'd settle for a "we know about the problem and are working on it." Even better if they could offer an expected fix date.

I don't want to seem like an entitled brat, but i'd be hoping for some free DLC for us poor schmucks that have to deal with this. Online is everything nowadays, even with MKX's not so stellar online play, to essentially not be able to play online is grounds for a refund. I'm tempted to dump the Xbox and go to PS, but I don't think they deserve my money again.
