I don't think it would mess up our chances of xplay with consoles. It would be casual only and would be really problematic for KL with all the desperate people looking for exploits to get ranks.

The thread has been cleaned and a ban has been issued. I don't need to tell you all this, but will do so anyway and this goes for others in this thread. Chill out. TYM does not have any tolerance for homophobia, bullying or toxic behavior.


If issues are arising, please send us a report as soon as possible so it can be addressed in a timely manner before it gets to 50 messages of back and forth shenanigans.


This applies to everyone, I don't like nasty behavior and I'm not for it. Good sportsmanship, stability, maturity and fun is what keeps these games alive and the juvenile behavior is part of what pushes people away.


If/when you return @Paul_Khan I advise you to conduct yourself with some level of decorum and grace. Do not come back arguing with me, I'm not interested.

I honestly don't see PC crossplay ever happening purely because the PC port is outsourced to separate developers. There's also the issue of PC always being at least a week or two behind on updates which would cause version conflicts between PC and consoles.

Also, what on EARTH did I miss? I guess that's what I get for ignoring the notification that Paul_Kahn had replied to the thread. It aint a joke when it says "There may be more posts after this" I guess.

I'm not overly concerned about patch alignment being a barrier. It just means CP would have blackout windows while things were out of parity.

Things like the Kano damage difference that lasted for weeks couldn't be a thing though.

There is plenty of room for it to be more complicated than they feel it's worth, and you are right in that you couldn't be on different versions. Considering how bent out of shape some people get over the patch lag already, it could easily be extra fuel on that fire making it a "nope, not worth it" situation.

I'm not going to be surprised either way. That it was done at all was the biggest surprise I expect to get on the topic.

The biggest Issue I see with cross platforming is the wide varierty of perfomance level you can get on pc. Tho Maybe that could be fixed adding a separate mode for cross platform only where graphics level and etc get unified and you have to pass a test to be able to play

I'm "Hail The Queen" on steam, add me if ya want. Haven't been playing for a while but i will prolly go at it again son enough. Fair warning, Cetrion lover.
