I'm sure he would be good... WOULD BE.. You cant get credit for what you would, should, or could do. A LOT of high level fighting game players WOULD be good if they put the time into MK9. Justin Wong WOULD be good if he put serious time in, yet this community blows him up all the time and points out that he cant deliver when the good players are there, but they dont blow up Chris G for the same thing.

Let me remind you that Chris G has done very bad for the last 7 months. Would he be good if he invested time? YES.. BUT.. you only get credit for what you actually do and not what you would do.

Kenshi has a really high hitbox and is free to Kung Lao's blockstrings into teleport 3. For example if Kung Lao does 21212~teleport, 3, Kenshi will be in so much blockstun that he HAS to block the instant tele 3. But if Kung Lao decides to delay the teleport~3 instead of instant teleport~3, he can just do another blockstring into another teleport, and another blockstring of that teleport and so forth. It almost feels like a block infinite to some Kenshis, I almost feel bad doing it lol.

It's not just that, but also when Kung Lao jumps at Kenshi to do a JIP, if Kenshi tries to anti-air and Kung Lao actually goes for a midair teleport, Kenshi gets full combo punished. If Kung Lao jumps at Kenshi and Kenshi decides not to anti-air and Kenshi becomes too scared to anti-air, than Kung Lao can jump all over Kenshi all day and abuse JIP into blockstring into teleport 3 into another blockstring

just because players don't place high with a certain character doesn't mean they aren't op. that's fail logic. before chris g, morrigan never saw top 8, now she is considered to be top 5 character, and chris g is the only one who has placed high/won with her. zero considered op (top 3) yet very few people place top with him.
