Oh ok I didn't use him much in mkx I used Mileena. But his custom moves barely helped him out in this game and some needed tweaking. Storm cell is good but is full combo punished if he miss it.

So? I post to get feedback, not to show off my flawless victories. If they have nothing to say I have nothing to lose, if they do I get what I want. Why you so mad all of a sudden?

You said "storm cell is good but...", implying that being full combo punishable is bad for a 14f circular hit box launcher that goes both sides, gives Raiden his highest unbreakable damage, is a mixup off his pokes and only trades with 6f D1s, when it's what it SHOULD be with ANY launcher. Storm cell is good period. No buts needed.
Yeah there are others on here that think we should be able to use the meter burn even if we miss. Costing us meter and being full combo punished but not by every move in the game. And I kinda agree with them but I'm not saying it should be changed I was just making a statement that it's good BUT it's bad too which is just me stating a fact. And yeah it's good BUT full combo punished by everything.
If your reward is so high you SHOULD be full combo punished by everything. Same thing with Noob's teleport.
Well everyone has an opinion on it, also noob has more zoning options than Raiden including his teleport.
What does zoning have to do with how good his launcher is? Launchers in MK are supposed to be full combo punished on block. If you're willing to take the risk to do a launcher on block or if your opponents read it they SHOULD be rewarded with a full combo punish of their pleasing. Which is why when you say "storm cell is good but it's full combo punishable" I say "as it should be" because that's how things work in MK11.
Because Raiden has to rely on storm cell in his thunder wave variant noob never has to rely on his teleport launcher he has an array of tools he could throw out there.
Do you play Noob? Have you played Noob against any zoner in the cast? His anti-zoning variation is literally using 2 slots for air teleport and teleport launcher because that what he relies on in those MUs
No but I play against him enough to know what I'm talking about. He don't have to rely on it when storm cell is arguably Raiden's best custom move and thunder wave is the most well rounded variation because of storm cell and teleport.
So you haven't played in that situation I mentioned which is precisely why he needs to rely on teleport launcher?
Most successful Raiden's use thunder wave, noob players use all different types of builds. So Raiden rely on storm cell more than noob does his teleport launcher is my point.
I don't think I'm getting through to you but whatever. I've yet to see a build of Noob that doesn't include either sickle snag/amp tele + slide because his launchers are that good.
