I definitely lurk more than I convo these days for a lot of reasons but primarily because I come to this site to crack open a game and deep dive gameplay strategy and the game isn't out yet so...

I lurked heavy during injustice 2, didn't enjoy that game at all. Play wise and spectator wise. I want to be more involved as mk11 is going to be the first fighting game I enter in a tourney too

I was much more active with regards to Street Fighter V until my college hiatus, during which time I just completely had to skip out on Injustice 2. I'm gonna strive to contribute more to the community for MK11 now that I've actually got the time to actually lab and work things out.

Same. Even though I wasn't too bad at MK9 and had the mind for the game, I had some self-confidence issues back during that time where I just didn't feel comfortable being in a tournament setting. Now, I don't even care if I lose all my matches, I just wanna get that experience. Plus, I know I can actually learn something from the losses since I feel that's one of the better ways to learn, to analyze where you feel you went wrong and to work on any holes in your game.

Yea no more lurking for me, at least until I see what the next game from NRS is. I want that experience too- I get nervous and all those nervous symptoms (heart rate increase, shaky, time seems to slow down, tons of random emotions) during a sweaty online set, can't imagine at a tourney lol

I was a non registered lurker during mk9 era. My "commenting season" is during pre-release hype, then I go mostly back to lurking and stealing tech/combos.

This has been me since Injustice 1, Ill occasionally post during the prerelease hype then go back to lurking. Im a slow learner and Ive never been a lab or tech monster. Ive relied on TYM threads to help me get the ball rolling for a long time.

I came here when MKX was out to look for Cassie stuff, and I posted quite a bit. Then I stopped for a while, even during IJ2 I didn't like the game enough to really look at frame data and go really deep into it. I wasn't even here for pre-IJ2 hype like I am now for MK11. I mean, I went from 200 posts to over 1000 in the span of a month, so I have to say that MK11 is hype AF and it seems it's bringing a lot of people in and making users more active.

Lurk'd during the MK9 years, and stopped cause I didn't care for injustice. Made an account to ask a question during MKXL and stuck around for that forum drama.

Most times I'll get half thru a reply and then just shrug and delete it, so I'm doing awful on the participation part.

I wasn't as active as I'd have liked to be during Mkx's peak and completely disappeared during Injustice 2. I'm definitely planning on being a lot more involved this time around. So far, I think I'm doing a pretty good job and MK11 has got me hype as hell.

Dang, NRS has really done an amazing job with mk11. So many people are unlurking now its pretty cool to see. I wonder what impression they get from the difference in population/reception in injustice vs mk.

I actually recently replayed "Heart of the Swarm," I went Torrasque as well. Haven't played Versus in a few seasons, and while I play Random, Zerg is both my favourite and my best.
