Beginner's Guide To Atrocitus

Hey guys, I'm new to the channel and trying to improve at IJ2. I'm hoping that I can start to do more character breakdowns to help me learn the characters. If you have any input or if this was useful please let me know. I'm taking this game very serious. (I want to win some smaller tournaments).

I'll also be posting links to my Evernote...notes. It's not perfect yet, but I just want to help as I learn and I'm hoping to get some great input in the process.

Again, Still learning, I'm not that great at him yet. Some people learn the game differently and for those people I want to provide a video for how I learn.

Yeah for some people they can people him up right away and play him, I'm not that skilled.

That is kinda subjective topic. I had less effort getting good using autopilot Batman mode than with atrocitus. What does that say? Nothing... just that there are easy to learn characters and some that are not that easy. Simple as that. As I said, you are better of judging it more binary. Because you can not include everyones own experiences into your individual opinion. that is not only narrow minded but also ignorant. No offense tho.

Batman isn't as braindead sir. He may be able to lock you down but he needs meter or trait. I'm not trying to downplay or uplay but Atro was one of the few ranked top tier almost instantly. Batman has almost no reach and AA Batman can slow his game down.
I just want Dex to go away on hit.
Imagine Poison Ivy with a trait that doesn't go away....

I main Atrocitus, and i have a feeling that when NRS releases their patch he is going to take a hit. Atrocitus is the only character who keeps his little helper.

Doesn´t matter if a character needs a video or not. Someone put in work and shared it. Even if you don´t appreciate it and don´t need it you don´t have to be a dick and make sarcastic comments.

I don't like the negativity here. For what's it is worth OP I am going to try and pick up Atrocitus as a secondary and I will be using your videos. Thanks!

you're not informing new players of anything, you are just recording yourself learning a character.
as someone fairly new to fighting games I would expect a guide to have the following:
1.explain what the character excels at.(briefly).
2.talk about the trait.
3.good buttons/strings for footsies.
5.Easy BnBs

a guide implies that you will tell me how to play a character.
I appreciate what you're trying to do.
ignore the people that don't seem to understand what is like being newbie at fighting games.
the video should be no more than 15 minutes.
remember its a video game, people want to have fun.

Most of its probably sarcasm in regards to that one string and Dex.
I'm all about guides and good finds but it's Atro. I enjoy picking on top tiers.

Yeah, I'd like to keep it on the shorter side, but I'm in no way saying this is a guide.
I learn a bit differently and want to look at the smaller details. Alot of people aren't going to like that and that's fine. The Idea is people learning as I learn the game. I'm still very new so I'd like to break them down faster, but I want to hit points that I feel alot of pro's skim over. As I learn I want to point out more of those points, but yeah. Not a guide, more of an actual deconstruction of the MOST basic stuff that I can see.

No the less, your input is greatly valued and thanks.
