Bay Area MKX Scene?

Hey guys the soft approach isn't really working so I'm going to lay it out straight. I will hold casuals at my house on saturday (18th) from 6:00-11:00pm I have one ps4, 2 ps4 controllers (can borrow more though), and a hitbox. I need someone to bring another console and a copy of mkx (ps4 of course). Reminder: I live in fremont close to the thornton exit on the freeway and a few blocks down from bart (you can catch a bus)

Unfortunately I can't drive, so I don't know if I can make it to you. You live near an amtrak station by any chance?

totally cool with me, I'm mad paranoid so I know where you're coming from lol. though no one sent me a pm yet (to busy dreaming of mkx). I'll make a list of everyone attending the day before (friday the 17th)

I told everyone at the midnight (aka 9pm) release at my gamestop. Though realistically they all probably forgot about it after 5 seconds.

Also as a reminder I was going to hold casuals at my house from 6-11pm on saturday, but no one has said they are coming :( I might have to cancel it since no one will show up.

Are you in the city? I wont be able to make it this weekend as I will be traveling but by the looks of it, I should be free the following weekend. However if you are close enough, I wouldn't mind having casuals during the week.

Not even close, I live in Fremont lol. i stated earlier in the thread that you could host casuals for the north/west part of the bay while I do it for the south/east part. Obviously when brewcade is hosting we all go there.

Is anyone in the city trying to have casuals before the meetup on Sunday? My roommate and I are both open to hosting some casuals tonight in San Francisco if anyone is free

Just a heads up - the guys at Showdown of the Folsom Street Foundry will be hosting casuals to gauge interest in MKX. If you are not already aware, Showdown and the weekly events they host are sponsored by a number of big names to include most recently, Red Bull.

I highly recommend you guys jump on this opportunity and contact the guys on twitter to find out when and what day. A lot of the street fighter players have been picking the title up and will definitely be in attendence. Also, on game nights - Foundry allows minors inside the bar so long as their hands are stamped to indicate that they are not to be served alcohol.

Back to getting bodied by Biology. Best wishes guys.

Do you have any idea when these casuals will be hosted? I contacted them and asked a few questions to get some more information.

Are you sure about that? I'd love to believe that's true considering I'm 18 but I'm also sure that even being in a bar is against the law for a minor.
