Awesome article explaining the Injustice characters for those unfamiliar with comics.

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate section to make this thread, but I don't know where else to put it. I came across a cool article and wanted to share it. This is just the first in a series of articles that will explain the characters that appear in Injustice for those who don't know too much about comics. It's a very informative and entertaining read in my opinion, and will bring you up to speed on the characters and what their history is...

The list is in alphabetical order, and so far the author has only done Aquaman, Ares, Bane, and Batman. However, he plans on doing the entire Injustice roster. I think this will help out people who aren't necessarily comic readers, but are still curious about the characters in the game.

-Part 2 has been uploaded: Black Adam, Catwoman, Cyborg, Deathstroke, and Doomsday

Really good article. I like the cut of this guy's jib.

That bit about rubberbanding and Bane really rings true in particular. Some characters've really just ceased to be actual characters thanks to the dreaded Status Quo.

Plus on block.
Ha! this guy is great.

Kingdom Come: Years into the future, the Joker goes on a killing spree and murders everyone at the Daily Planet, including Lois and Jimmy. Before Superman or Batman can catch him, he’s taken into police custody and new hero Magog fries him on the spot. Superman wants Magog tried for murder, but everyone agrees that what he did was completely fucking awesome and he gets off free. Having lost faith in mankind, Superman goes into solitude for a while until Magog’s gung-ho attitude causes a nuclear explosion that takes out all of Kansas. Superman gets a bunch of his old buddies back together and they go around abducting vigilantes they don’t like and shoving them in a big prison he’s concocted with no due process. Batman is uneasy about this to the point that he and Luthor start working together on a solution.

The guys pretty concise and funny. This was worth a read even for the characters I already know pretty well. I'm looking forward to his updates.

"can wear an unzipped catsuit without her nipples falling out"

Even her nipples have cat like reflexes.

I'm moderately surprised at the GL explanation. Didn't expect a mention of H.E.A.T., hardly anyone remembers that.

He definitely "gets" Lex Luthor.

I feel like I should point that out... given my name. I will be sharing this with everyone.

Well that gave me a bit of a chuckle.
This made me lol as well
Then why is she in Injustice: Gods Among Us? For one, Netherrealm has all those ice attacks and effects ready to reuse from the last dozen games. DC’s two main ice-slingers are Mr. Freeze and Captain Cold. There are already enough Batman characters as is, so the choices are down to the grizzled Eskimo gangster and the woman in the ice bikini with her buttcheeks hanging out. Considering the female designs in the last Mortal Kombat, naturally male gaze wins out.
