I don't pay any attention to what goes on over on the Sony side of things. I honestly can't tell what point you're trying to make, though. I've got all the respect in the world for you, F0xy, but I'm very confused right now.

I had no idea the guest characters in MK9 got so much hate, I'm sorry for striking a nerve.

I just assumed since they've done it in the past they'd do it again and was surprised it didnt happen.

I have it on good authority that one MK9 character will be making it in as the 4th dlc, but I'm in denial, hoping beyond hope it's just hearsay.

We don't need any guest characters - DC has such a variety - leaving awesome DC characters out for a guest character would be outrageous!!

Just saying that you never know, perhaps they could throw in a guest character, as DLC or something.
You'dve thought MK9 being a reboot would've been strictly MK.

well considering how NRS loves to troll us with dlc characters that have nothing to do with the universe that their fighters are from I'm thinking Spyro the dragon exclusive on ps3 and Towel from south park for all systems.

Scorpion could always be one of the DLC characters. Not that I think he should be since their are literally hundreds of DC characters to pick from.

Oh, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they added a guest character, I would just hate to see it happen.

Freddy wasnt released until months after the games release as DLC. No one even knew he would be guesting until like a week before he came out. Just something to think about. I would highly doubt them doing it again though.

Guest characters just breaks the illusion instantly once you see them. And that means Big, especially in your only DC comic fighter. Guest characters hella suck and should be reserved for games like Candy land having Kermit the frog

Why's that ridiculous? It was such a stupid move that I literally thought people were trolling. I can't even explain how let-down I was when I realized it was true. Just kinda took all my love for the game away. Whether it's ridiculous or not, I've had no urge to play MK9 since they released Freddy, and I'm just not going to play a game I'm no longer interested in.

The fact that people are mad that a character they did't want or like is in the game instead of a different character that they probably wouldn't want or like.

If they didn't have a 4th DLC character at all you still would have lost interest, and saying an optional addition is somehow a deciding factor is kind of absurd. Not only did you not have to buy Freddy, you could also leave a game with a Freddy player in it at any time, even in the select screen.

I bought all 4 DLC characters and I ended up not maining any of them because after the initial hyper over them being new died down I realized the characters that I have the most fun with are already in the starting cast.


I only used Freddy a handful of times and I don't even like the character to be honest but I still think the whole elitist argument is ridiculous.

no mk charachters. this a comic universe and if a guest charachter were to be in it should be comic related and if wb could do it id suggest work something out with marvel and maybe throw in ironman seeing as wb is working on a marvel title and it would be great promotion for the iron man 3 film thats out may 3

i'm not that opposed to the idea of guest characters. i just would rather have another dc character instead of a guest character because there are still people from dc that i love and they aren't in the game (im a huge comic nerd btw). just like i felt they should have put shinnok, fujin or even frost in mk9 instead of freddy.

from what i saw from the storymode i believe another was officially mentioned

i wont say who do to spoilers oviously but if im correct i think fans will be pleased
