Dunno why its getting a remake didn't think the original was good enough to warrant that

I finished Zetsuen no Tempest and both seasons of Code Geass recently. I have to say they were both really good shows.

The original wasn't good 'cause they strayed away from the manga. The reboot stays truer but not completely 'cause it focuses more on the 2nd/Paradoxed world where the Rozen Maidens don't exist. It has great plot potential but it's currently being executed really poorly. I could say the same for Monogatari: TSS if you know it.

I don't mind me some classics. It's just that to me, a classic needs to have good character design. 'cause that's what makes me dislike a lot of them. Even though my childhood favs are from 90's-early 2k's

Evangelion has great character development.

Only problem with evangelion is that it was so revolutionary that every anime since its release has copied it down to the core, so much so that going back and watching it can make it seem generic even. Unfortunate but animes love to copy paste characters.

You are 100% correct but it still is a good anime and deserves to be seen. The End of Evangelion is so unique! Do you guys use crunchyroll?

So already I can tell there's some significant stuff that was omitted/skipped through in the anime that's developed more in detail in the manga. Looks like I need to start from the beginning of the manga afterall.

Once you start downloading your anime you'll never go back to streaming (unless you want to watch while your downloading haha). Watching anime in 720p or 1080p makes the experience so much more enjoyable compared to streaming it since you can see all the fine details so much more clearly and everything just looks so much more awesome.
