I have no idea why this xenomorph just walks past the player, but everything I read so far points towards that it shouldn't be? I thought it was a zombie xeno (i honestly dont know lol)

Consider this game has been building hype since 2008 with all it's delays and secrecy. No game no matter how good lives up to that kind of hype. Look at Diablo 3, the game had some serious flaws, but people forget how shitty Diablo 2 was before the LoD expansion because they've been waiting 10 years for the 3rd game. Everyone hates on it now since it's not up to their ludicrous standards.
Yes, the game is fucking awful and I can't believe I wasted 50 dollars on it. I could've gotten NHL13 but I knew CrReaM (he's a streamer) was wicked hype about it so I figured it must be good. I don't think i've played a game this bad in a long time. It's like Natural Selection 2, which is excellent btw, but with laggy gameplay and no commander.
Dude D3 was a travesty, Blizzard's greed mad ethat game fail so badly that it wasn't even funny. Anyway I always just say forget the reviews if your an Alien fan then just give it a shot. Considering it was Gearbox that finished the game and just like Duke 4ever, I'm sure this was a way for the developer to get there claws into the Aliens franchise, to allow them to develop another game in the franchise later. Its like with Fox owning the rights to X-Men movies, they have to release so many in a certain mamount of time. I personally think that Gearbox is going to fully develop another game based in bothin the Aliens and as well as produc another game in the Duke franchise and they will likely do better in the future with it.
Excuse the double post, because back then, Sega decided it was a good idea to hold off on this game to make AvP first, which if this game had come out when it did, it quite possibly might have done better.

After playing the game this is supposed to happen. These are called boiler aliens and they are only attracted to sounds so if you don't move they'll walk by or they'll go back into a statue like form. Pretty cool level in the game.

agreed man.i was surprised at how good the reboot is,as soon as you get past the little shit and his emo bullshit character it's hella fun,the combat is still awesome.as for the alien that thinks its going to win britains got talent with that penguin impression you may have convinced me to go and pick the game up just for that level,comedy gold.
No you are not confused, the useres are the one reviews that typically will count. When you read reviews by actual paid critics they will break the game down to a level, a ridculous level. Right now everyone is expecting one of two things with a game like this Dead Space or CoD, which is absurd. IMO I'e listen to a user's review way before an official review.
