No, nettipots are 100% safe.

It is the fact that people use tap water that makes it dangerous.
If one should use tap water, they must boil it to kill any diseases in the water.

I would still just use bottled water or purified, filtered water.

It isn't the nettipot, rhinowash, etc,

it is tap water causing these infections/deaths

just use bottled water and you're safe
