so basically INJ was advertised and promoted months in advance on their site for pools being on saturday and now that we are 2 weeks before the event they push it back to friday cause it said in one generic line "you may have to play on friday"

why even make a claim or advertise that anything was going to run on saturday then? should of just posted you would play on friday instead of the whole saturday propraganda. what a cluster of hot diarrhea

This never happened lol. A tentative schedule was released in early may. And then Two days after that it was updated due to registrations.

The reason why it was Saturday was because of low turnout. It turned into Friday due to the better numbers.

The tentative schedule wasn't released until May 2nd. Pools were advertised on Saturday for less than 30 hours and then switched to Friday to fit within the bracket system. Prior to May 2nd the event was, and still is, listed as "all games start on Friday. Be prepared to play on Friday even if your might not be till later."

The original tentative schedule was posted because people were clamoring for it. I agree that waiting until the week of the event, like many other tournaments, would have been preferable at this point.

i was happy to see the schedule and my games would be played on Saturday. i had no reason to cancel friday patient schedules. i have a family, a job, responsibilities. i made plans to come to this fricken event and for the second year in a row the schedule gets screwed. two weeks before you decide to say "ohhh hey my carnival needs to be three days, not two so i will move games to friday" last year I HAD AE POOLS POSTED AND "FINALIZED' BUT I SHOW UP SAT MORNING AND SEE MY POOL IS NOW ON SATURDAY MORNING FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON WITHOUT WARNING. of course keits made up some bullshit about why thats ok even though pools were "finalized" the day before.

you can do whatever you want... but im telling you that changing an event an entire day just weeks before is fucking stupid. period. i don't want to hear/read some big post saying how right you are and wrong i am.
this is why the community needs MLG, bc this shit doesn't happen. i am penalized for planning and wanting to be responsible for work/family and miss the least amount of days possible. these types of moves only work for people without jobs/are in school/don't care about taking time off.

Peoples opinions are very important to me.. I am not the smartest man on earth, and if anyone has a better idea, I want to hear hear about it.

BUT... you will literally go on with someone with 20+ years exp in an area and argue your few years of exp on matters. Its like being a Doctor for 25 years and having an intern tell you why all these ways of practicing that didnt work for 25 years will work now. You go over issues that have been hashed out and re-hashed out for 25 years. While it may have been your first, second, or third conversation on a matter - someone like myself has been on the same conversation a thousand times in 3 different decades. Theres a difference in having to be right and knowing the situation MUCH better than the MUCH newer faces in the conversation.

dude you signed an agreement saying you were prepared to play on friday. If you were really so responsible you would have read the agreement that you agreed to.

NRS is a Chicago based company YET there games are never put on prime time stream slots at a Keits event. He says he loves NRS... again actions speak louder than words...

i swore off big e tournaments after my 10th time of waiting around 5 hours for my game to start. not eating that whole time because you never know when it will start and don't want to get DQed, then playing like shit when it finally gets going: PRICELESS

not to mention other deeper issues that make it a whole different can of worms from UFGT...

wish i could make it to this, but moving to west coast has made it a no go =(
