Just kidding, let's see what can be , hehe ..... maybe new DLC project coming up ?

Knowing the troll that Ed is, when he says multiple times DLC is not happening, straight forward, I expect we're done with DLC for MK9.

1 has to be about the movie.

I'm assuming they are doing a cross over, like mk vs dc 2, or mk vs dead or alive.

Or UMK9 for next spring.

This would truly suck.
I wanted more stages, maybe more fatalities, certainly way more costumes (maybe as a pack; MK3 Rain, MK1 Kang/Cage/Raiden/Kano, MK3 Sonya/Stryker, MK2 Mileena, Cyber Reptile/Smoke skins), and at least Friday the 13th Part 7 Jason...

Granted this could all be in UMK9 with no input bug and a better practice mode...I don't care, so long as we get the DLC I've been waiting for.
I don't even want new fighters apart from Jason. We've already gotten all our fighters.
Current DLC included for free in UMK9 would be fine enough...

...unless NRS is actually truly working on the new Tiny Toons game, then they can just take my life savings now as an investment.
I'm not too hyped for that at all. (yes I am)

Ok, here are my wishes for this upcoming surprises:

1. Working on a "sequel" to Shaolin Monks, using a different story line (hopefully UMK3)

2. they are emulating Arcade MK4 Rv3.0 and THE GRID to be released on XBL & PSN.

3. They want to hire me

4. Tobias is back on Team MK.

5. MK10 returns to true 2d highlighted by use of digital actors for the characters

6. NRS buys the rights to Killer Instinct and releases 1 & 2 to XBL & PSN. And will make 3. :coffee:

Out of the posts so far UMK9/movie teaser are the most plausible to me. Possibly very early teaser for MK10 for next gen.

What makes you believe they are working on a crossover? I think Ed already said they're not working on MKDC2.

To be honest, if NRS want MK 9 to succeed and proliferate in the Tournament scene, especially at the big ones like Evo, then they need to do what SF IV did and release updated versions of SF IV, once a year or so. You guys saying you want to wait for MK 10 will be waiting a LONG time, and will people still be playing this version of MK 9, 3 years from now? Im pretty sure I read somewhere that NRS wanted MK 9 to be tournament worthy. Well they succeeded, but if they want it to carry on till MK 10, then they need......

UMK 9 is the way to go. New characters, new X Rays, more moves for existing characters, patching, balancing, improving online problems, improving training room, and so on.

I still doubt that it will be new MK9 content.

And if it is mk9, then it will be the news of it available on Play Stations new device.

I swear to god, boon is the king of all trolls, none succeed like he does.

I know it won't happen, but I'm still hoping on MKXKI or KI3.

UMK9 would be awesome too.

I don't want MK4

I don't want tim to be hired by them =P

I'm guessing it's MK for Vita. For some reason that was openly talked about a while ago and then they started pretending they hadn't announced it.

Well, a certain someone told me that an NRS insider told him UMK9 was 100% happening...........

It's probably Rain's classic costume.
