Looks pretty good, though a lot of heavy hitters will probably come late-reg! So you might want to keep some space in some pools open. (are you doing 16 pools since we will have about/over 128?)

Also, not that it matters or changes where I am , but you miscounted how many points I have. I should have more from top 8 at CW and top 8 at SJ :p

@RapZiLLa54 is there a schedule for IGAU yet and are the pools going to get released sometime today or tomorrow? just want to know because obviously i'm going to be watching and good luck to all those who compete this week, should be hype.

The butthurt is real. Why would you seed someone not playing? Djokovic isn't seeded 1 at a tournament he's not going to.
This is true. But Djokovic earned more points when he won Wimbledon (a Grand Slam) than he did winning Rome (a Masters event).

So now that we got through pools what did everyone think of the brackets? Ironically I believe all 16 seeded players except for tyrant made it out of pools?

We had 8 pools of 16 and I believe we ended up starting top 16 twenty minutes late which I'm a little disappointed in but the first few pools were rough with trying not to go DQ happy and we had to play a little catch up but overall very smooth. Great job to my partners in crime @Ray Riazy, @Mikemetroid, @Tusk1407 and of course @Shock .

Enjoy top 8 everyone!

Always looking for feedback to improve so let me have it! @rev0lver

20 minutes "late" is perfectly fine to start a top 16 considering there is no time frame. If anything a scheduled half hour break is probably a good idea between the finish of pools and a top whatever it may be. You guys did an amazing job. I know that if I have time to play casuals in old school games things are going good. There was a Vampire Savior tournament I had to miss out on though but no worries! I was happy to see some positive comments on twitter and heard a lot of positive/corrective (meaning countering the unwarranted attacks) encouragement from numerous players about the event and tournament.

The only thing that sucked was the 4G, and I found out why. Bifuteki told me that the area is a T-Mobile hotspot. They recently installed 4 towers/antennae near/on the building and he was getting 18mbit upload because he has TM. I have the Verizon Mifi which Friday night during low traffic at like 2AM got 10/6, but during the early afternoon to dinner time was only getting 2/2 and up to 3/3 at times, and unstable at best.

Also there were *6* devices connected to the Mifi at one point. My computer, I'm assuming the two laptops, one Xbox that was updated while the stream was going on (understandable), an unknown phone and I believe Kazi's phone which had the password I believe last time I was running Joe Lewis' charity event and that's fine. This was definitely bogging down the stream connection so Flip Kev offered his Mifi and we switched over all auxiliary devices to his. For future reference, we need to try the hotel wifi, which are generally available and capable of posting bracket updates, probably not connecting an xbox but I don't know whose system wasn't patched.

Around the same time this happened, Kev and I were unable to login into our Mifi accounts. There's a chance there was simply a problem on the other end. This leads me to express the following:

The "KN stream" always being terrible is such a disingenuous statement. Every event I've streamed with a hardline WITH THE EXCEPTION OF YESTERCADES OLD INTERNET CONNECTION has been perfectly fine, in fact, there was a time when KN stream was heralded as one of the best quality streams in the FGC because we were streaming consistently 720p 60 fps.

I'm assuming none of these people who think the stream is always bad, didn't see TFC, or GUTS 3 which were back to back hardline tournaments with gorgeous results.

Ah I thought it was scheduled to start at 8pm, you know me and time schedules lol.

It sucks that stream quality is solely at the mercy of the Hotels location and almost always has unusable wifi and/or no direct lines.
