So about 99% of these online ranked matches ive played have been ppl using Wifi...my..gosh..

Does the game give you the option to decline wifi in match-making? Or does it just show you what you may be in for?

What do you mean you reliably have 50-100ms ping?

Also, ping showing up as "good" isn't the issue. Good internet connections will show up as a good. The problem is three minutes later when it spikes 385ms for 10 seconds and then goes back to 60ms.

You get this in MKX a lot... You get matched with somebody in ranked without the option to decline because the connection looked good for a few seconds. Then after you connect, you can barely navigate the select screen. Not all are that bad, but that's not the point. It matched you with a "good" connection and it was actually shit.

Now I'm gonna go through hooking in wire and see what changes. Guys are saying that packet loss and ping are what's important. Why I have 0% packet loss if WiFi loses so much packets. For latency what I've been reading says anything from 16-48 is good. We will see if that goes down once I plug in wire.

Its online ranked, no-one cares about results. No-one cares if you're top of the league. You gonna pull your cable to the top like wolfkrone? No-one cares if you do, no one cares if you don't.

You wanna train for an offline tournament? Train offline. You're lucky the netcode is so good you think it's a viable alternative. Maybe have a wired lobby.

I know some of you turn online results into offline wins, you probably did that with games with worse netcode, maybe it doesn't really matter that much.

haha, as previously stated, it will still show ping, and you are in the majority. You don't have to worry about snobs. We snobs have to worry about 9/10 ppl having wireless connections

Have someone no the network launch a youtube video. Then do the diagnostic test. See if you get packet loss.

Tfw you say you have a dank wifi connection, then when you play its smooth and randomly spikes. No hate, but playing people on wifi is frustrating as fuck sometimes.
