I play Bane. All rules of the game are null and void vs Venom lol. Bring it on. God I am stoked for this. Thought for sure he'd get cut. Here's hoping I get my long odds character The Ray as well to make this even better :D

I'm surprised they brought Bane back. He only got into the first one due to Dark Knight Rises hype and I remember his announcement being met with a resounding 'meh' even when the game was out he was one of the least used characters both online and in tournament play. He didn't even have a big role in the story. You'd think this time they would have went with Killer Croc as the big and strong Batman villain.

And I'm also surprised that it looks like Martian Manhunter won't be in considering the backlash NRS got for not including him on the base roster in the first game. He was so heavily requested there that Boon left him off the DLC poll because he already knew that he would win.

Thanks. List is too accurate and predictions too solid to be false. So I only have one question.

WHERE IS RAVEN?

If she doesn't make the cut after surviving the first game with some of these additions I won't stop talking about it until Injustice 3 releases.

I hope she is to the max. Huge dent for me if she is out even if the game is godlike.

The list had returning characters like Bane, Catwoman, Arrow, etc with the new ones, Brainiac as the villain. On page 6 posted almost 4 hours ago the original post is there with it.

I remember seeing Robin on someone's wishlist and thinking that he would be a horrible choice for the game when you have so many cooler heroes and villains to choose from.

And now seeing him in-game I suddenly what to play as him. Weird.

Anyway, this trailer pleases me.

I don't see how that would work anyway. These are just skins, so obviously these "characters" have to share animations with each other. Flash and Zoom works. Supergirl and Powergirl works. Hal Jordan and John Stewart works. Captain Cold as Mr. Freeze and and Catwoman as Cheetah could work.

Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing? That WOULD indeed be a travesty. Could you imagine Swamp Thing walking and hitting like Poison Ivy? It just wouldn't look right, especially considering the size comparison of the characters alone. Swamp Thing wouldn't even be able to fit on Poison Ivy's rig correctly anyway, unless they made him smaller or something. So honestly, I don't think that's going to happen.

I'm glad they brought him back. He's an awesome villain. Hopefully the story mode gives his intelligence some credit and doesn't make him a mindless grunting brute. I was never able to play him very well but it was a treat to watch matches with those who were good with him.

I don't know if he was that rare or not but, if they are going to bring back rare characters, it gives me hope for Hawkgirl. I think she'd have awesome costume options and I know I'd pay for a premium Hawkman skin.

Bane is the second best Batman villain free. He's also my third favorite comic book villain all together so I'm happy he's in, I won't use him though probably because I never really like using huge characters in fighting games. Bane would be way more popular if he wasn't constantly portrayed as another "strong guy" throwaway jobber, Bane is intimidating because not only could he tear you to shreds but he will outsmart everyone in the room.

The gameplay reveal.

If it's on the 24th, I would think it's highly likely we get it from a revealed character from the trailer.

Bane is known, Brainiac is the boss. Which leaves Robin and Poison Ivy. First reveal was Superman universe so next will be Batverse. I'm almost certain it will be one of these two.

Never once have I stated that guests don't sell well. And I don't even use Twitter.

And fighting games based on licensed franchises have the tendency of promoting current, new or upcoming material. Why do you think that Deadshot made the cut here? Or why Zod was DLC in the first game? It sure as hell wasn't because they were highly requested characters or anything of the sort.

I think the best version of Bane outside the comics was his Arkham Origins incarnation. Which ironically is Arkham game that gets the most flak. The characterization for Bane was spot on there. Not only did it show Bane's intelligence, but it showed us that you can have the Joker and not treat every other character in the game like a second fiddle. Bane was fantastic in Origins and didn't take any crap from the Joker.

Origins redeemed Bane after his crappy treatment at the hands of Rocksteady. And sadly unless there's some writing that's equivalent to a magic wand that undoes anything permanent, we can never get that version again.

Yeah Bane was very good in that game. The writing in that game was overall very good. Rocksteady Bane is almost as insulting as Batman and Robin Bane. Injustice Bane is whatever he's just kinda Bane, he doesn't really do anything cool or lame he's just whatever.

A part of me thinks a Batman and Robin Bane skin would be awesome for trolling.

Also, the tower ending for Bane was cool, but yeah, his story inclusion was dire. Looks like they might rectify that this time though, with him appearing in this trailer alongside the other people we know will have a stromg influence on the story.

And having Brainiac as the big bad could mean that they will focus on the intellect of the villains, which could mean good things for Bane fans this time.
