Chris G won several early era MK tournaments too. And about Capcom "taking over", we had 3 Top MK guys in top 8 at CEO. PL, Reo, and CD Jr. Maybe if they hadn't been fucking around and bouncing around characters they would have been more focused on solid play. Right outside of Top 8 we had Brady, Pig, and 16 bit. So far the MK scene has been having great showings. So Chris G won. Big deal. He got 4th at MK9 Evo 2011 too.

Scorpion is reos main. Or are we still acting like reos batman is good? Watching mk players try to defend in this game makes me laugh, green arrow is so much easier to beat with some patience.

Yeah, just ignore the rest of the high level players and scenes that I listed and say that Reo's batman isn't good when he has been playing Scorpion as his main. It looked to me like he was sandbagging for Evo in all honesty but I don't know. Why don't you come out and beat Chris G's Green Arrow if its so easy, but since you probably can't you would rather stay home bashing the MK scene when they are getting the majority of the top 8's in most tournaments. Also, Scorpion can be blocked/defended just as well as Green Arrow can. He only has one good high low mixup off of a jumping attack. So if you can't beat Scorpion and sit home whining about him then why not level up your blocking as well.

Meaning capcom player... Means they excel at sf4 and mvc. Regardless of their origins. Reo is a good dude but I'm really perplexed by this weekend. He plays every night, makes blogs and videos, on this forum a lot and was a tester for NRS. He said e pretty much have up and didn't care about justice at CEO per cd jrs twitter.


I call bull shit. Chris g is the best player of out entire generation.

Im not the one that claimed we were a joke for losing to chris g the best gamer of all time. Reo and m2dave are. I dont know how many times ive seen them yuk yuk it up that people lose to green arrow.

They're just tryna switch it up ya know? Who wants to play witit the same cast over and over?
As long as Metaknight stays and Megamans in. Life is great :)
And Nintendo is pretty much for kids in a way. :eek:

Reality check? Here is a reality check for you...

Good players are in every community. Because each game that each community plays allows the players to learn and accell at particular skills and tactics in each of those games, each player looks at things differently. Injustice is most different from the other games because so many different players from different backgrounds can play and use what they do in other games and feel comfortable, and just that fact alone can benifit us all. By pitting one community against another you are being counter productive.

By sticking to the mantra of "MK players are the best," you are stunting the growth of the community by being exclusionary, as well as hurting the growth of the game more than anything else. In order for everyone to get better, you just have to play more people, play more games, and level up by learning as much as you can.

Why do we post these threads all the time?

Feels like most of the site's complaining or morale-lowering negativity. How can we expect people to take us seriously if we can hardly take ourselves seriously? Where's the drive?

Also F. Champ is trash.

Honestly, the only way you (we) can be taken seriously is if you show up and play. Go to the offline events, be good, and win.

About F.Champ's comments. No one is saying you (we) can't talk shit back, but that doesn't make it any less stupid when you are doing it exclusively on an online forum. Fact is, Champ got knocked out of the CEO tourney in top 32. That alone is better than most of what those who talk shit on TYM can do.

i still think reo brady jr pl pig m2dave foxy got this, well chris g is not an nrs or a capcom guy, he's just good at fgames, so its not really a matter of capcom taking over, (which i really think is not) :)

I'd be happy to go to every tournament if/when I have the money to afford anything. :p
