You said that they aren't made with love like they used to be. However, NRS has been putting in a lot of effort and the fact that they listen to us and patch the game might be spoiling us but just like with a parent-child relationship spoiling is usually a sign of affection rather than the contrary.

I was mentioning things that NRS games aren't made of anymore. Though there is some tough love now..

i wasn't really referring to much to NRS because i know their inner workings, and have followed them for quite some time. It just seems to be pretty common among most if not all fighters. But i I was referring to most of the newer gen game companies that pretty much treat us as testers, one main one being capcom, i felt betrayed by them most of all for the hot garbage of a game they put out after asking for our input, at the end of the day it was a great business decision so whatever.

NRS has done what they could in the short amount of time they had and made an effort to include tournament players in the testing which is an effort i commend them for.

I definitely agree on Capcom. That's why I'm more kontent that I never really got into their series of fighting games. I really like Ibuki and Firebrand from their respective games but outside of that I never felt the appeal of most of their mechanics. Specifically, easy to do invincible moves that do more damage than my kombos and interrupt my pressure when my character already gets outzoned as it is. lol.

Scorpion pretty much ruined this game for me in a big way. Even if he wasn't a braindead character for braindead scrubs, I'd still vote for his banning just to spite NRS for shoehorning in this out-of-place-regardless character that literally NO ONE asked for.

Anyway, even though I'm nobody I say ban this asshole until his risk/reward is unfucked. Perfect Legend can talk shit about people's "ulterior motives" for banning him, but what about PL's ulterior motives for not banning him? C'mon.

I'd honestly say I hate this character more than Frost. Giving credence to the "pay to win" concept is just terrible. No one would stand for it if Batgirl's teleport was +9 and we shouldn't stand for it here.

I seriously don't understand thought process and logic from NRS people... Hector asks AK Pig Of The Hut why is he basing his opinion on Scorpion from online games, then he posts this:

yes it's a hard job, deadlines and budget are issues, but lbsh these dlc's so far are untested (Batgirl) and unbalanced from the most part, comparing them to the base game
someone said that baning Scorpion is slap in the face to NRS, I see it more as a wake up call

To me, the whole thing smacks of:

1. Lets make non MK fans aware of MK characters to raise interest for MK10.
2. Lets make DLC characters OP to sell to casuals for easy wins and then fix them later.

The trouble is with point 2, I don't know how they can fix him without fundamental changes to his design.

I especially like the part about how you said you play billions of Scorpions online. I'm forced to play online A LOT myself, and cant attend any tournaments this year due to my costly wedding this summer...

ONLINE IS NOTHING BUT SCORPION NOW, AND I FUCKING WANT TO DIE.

I dont have a super hard time with him. It's a decent matchup being that I'm an Aquaman main, but I'm so fucking bored with it. It's awful fighting him over and over and over. I honestly quit after one match against Scorpion players now whether I win or lose. GG, peace out.

Makes me not want to play this game... :-(

the changes were released today and I think they are very good across the game. mb tele being -8 with more push back will allow full punish/frame advantage. really interested in the speed change. again... im no evo champ... this is only an opinion.

Scorpion's 1.05 changes will make him more balanced, but it won't make the game fun again. He'll still have the same exact tools. His hellfire needs to be blockable. If that's done (along with 1.05 changes), then he'll actually be an Injustice character.
