I understand you're salty, but don't come at me like that.

No one said you have to play the game. No one said you have to buy the game. They put one character in a game full of 27 other characters and despite one character being clearly OP, your argument is that the game is not a DC game because that character is in the game. It's not because he "breaks" the game or because he negates back dashes and punishes. It's because he isn't part of the DC canon.

I'm no mindreader, I'm pretty sure however that what NRS meant when they said IGAU would have its own identity is that it would be a new mechanic and new system of playing different from the traditional MK mechanic. There is no block button, no fatalities and the game employs several other new features different from ones everyone here is use to seeing in an NRS title. I can't give you an excuse for what they are doing with the game. But I'm pretty sure, if no one ever said anything about changes that need to be made to the game, they wouldn't happen.

If it wasn't this, people would find something else to complain about. Everyone has some type of bias and if their character doesn't get fixed then it's an issue. The problem is a game issue. Not an individual issue. It just happens that an individual has so much influence over the game. Considering the multiple other issue that this game can have and the game does have right now, your point is moot. Best I can suggest is that you just pretend like Scorpion is not in the game. The rest of us will acknowledge his existence and discuss accordingly.

Wow man just wow keep ignoring the fact that some characters just can't do anything against scorpion. You're clearly a scorpion player who also uses aquaman so its whatever at this point.

Lol ok I haven't played in over a month in fact I sold my copy. I dropped the game after ect when I was in winners finals in my pool and lost to Rico suave because its not fun win or lose. In fact I win way more than I lose in injustice and I would rather lose In mk than win in injustice. Just because you saw a couple bad games on stream where I dropped every combos because I don't practice doesn't mean you know anything. My set against cd jr in mk was a LOT of fun and I lost 8-2 but each match was competitive and required a high amount of footsies spacing reactions and reads. As long as that's going on Its fun to me win or lose.

I think a fair way to balance scorpion is to make it so you can't cancel into teleport off of any thing that's blocked. This will prevent people from getting rewards off of NOT opening people up. I would say at the very very least make it so that on block if it were to still be cancellable there be a gap in between the cancel and the startup. Not long enough for it to be free punishes but if read correctly you could do a d1 opener on it.I believe this should also be true of naked tele is increase the startup so that it can be read but also still allow it to be useable in certain defensive situations. Leave its current on hit properties be so that way it can be used as a combo tool .Boom you still have a ridiculously versatile teleport that could even still be considered op but leans itself to contextually balanced game design. IBalancing the jump 3 should be a simple matter of making it negative on block it controls ridiculous space and the cross up hitbox is absolutely insane it's a very easy tool to hit people with and with it being such hi reward it definitely needs to have some risk attached especially since most of the cast can't even attempt to anti air it and air to airing it is a bad idea cuz j1

Scorpion was just the icing on the cake. There were already characters that fundamentally broke the game. This game has always been nothing more than a casual cheese fest that tried to come off as a serious fundamentally solid fighting game. I'm actually glad they stopped the facade. I find it refreshing that they embraced the cheese and took it up a notch.

Why the hell are you putting words in my mouth? I never said I didn't like it. I actually think its a lot of fun when the other person isn't exclusively throwing cars and jumping like their on a trampoline.

Tonight was my first online experience, after playing you I went back to the lab an then went hunting for noon so I can get used to this game. I would do well but as soon as they pick scorpion it was game over. His teleport seems much faster in this and with no block button it's so hard to react to. You have to walk forward to avoid his super?? Wtf

you can dash it on reaction

if you time the dash right, it will do the invincible back dash and you can punish it
