NO MONEY DOWN
Using Yoda is a bad example since even despite Yoda not following the game's rules, his design allowed other characters to play him in ways that Yoda himself didn't have answers to. For example, Apprentice and Taki could get a life lead and then run/flip away the entire match because of Yoda's horrible movement. His guard gauge was substantially smaller than other characters, almost guaranteeing characters like Ivy, Siegfried, and Nightmare at least one Critical Finish per match. And for Astaroth, the character with the strongest grabs in the game, ended up getting an infinite on the little green bugger because of his horrible ukemi.Oh was he? I dropped out of the SC4 scene when they patched out Ivy's infinite (i fuckin hate patches, idk why I'm still playing this) so idk what happened with the game after that lol.
My point is that he doesnt follow the game's rules, if was good he'd get fixed asap or banned coz most of the cast wont have answers to his shit and he doesnt play the game in its rules.
Basically, Yoda is a bad example because even though his unique design broke the rules for him and allowed him certain freedoms, it also went both ways, and allowed other characters to break the rules on him in horribly unfair ways. If this were the case for Scorpion, I think people would be much more receptive to him. But alas, it isn't.
And fuck that Ivy infinite. That was the last thing she needed!
