Theres this guy on xbl who has a huge problem with me for no reason. He starts to talk shit to me when i join a koth room, hasnt even played me before, and after a while i had the chance to play him when he joined a koth room again.

His name is cosmic death and he usually is with his buddy dazza<insert number>,one of those guys who only plays against worse players to get better stats.

So obviously when i played this guy i lost, he played with hawkgirl but he wasnt really good.
He was talking shit for more then an hour, all the time his friend had this stupid giggle, and at first it was hilarious, but after an hour of litterally nonstop shittalking from cosmic death it got annoying. Im pretty sure he was on some sort of upper, the way he was talking. I should have recorded it.

I ran into my good buddy HandySavage, who is one of the many ji2 spamming Batman players on XBL. I used Lex and beat him taking only chip damage. He was complaining during the match that Lex is broken because his mines supposedly stop all jump-ins and called me a spammer because I used the same combo until I did my Super Move combo as a finisher. He sent me messages after the match.

HandySavage: "Your that shitty Hawkgirl from a month ago right? Still nice to see you rely on unused characters to cheese out lucky wins."
Me: "Look at the ticker at the top and you'll see I'm not the only Hawkgirl and Lex player."
HandySavage: "Your a pussy that has to use unknown gimmick characters. Use someone that's known and I'd fuck you up easily bitch."
Me: "No, I'd rather not waste my time appeasing a whining grown man."
HandySavage: "Whatever bitch, get blocked since your too scared to fight me and are fucking annoying."
Me: "Here's some advice to improve your life. Don't start an argument if you're just going to back down. All picking a fight and giving up does is show how weak you are."
HandySavage: "Now I'll give you some advice. Shut the fuck up and get some pussy. That'll keep your being a nerdy virgin a secret."


I had to *facepalm* at this whole exchange. That was the first time I heard of someone complaining because their opponent was not tier whoring. I wish that I reminded him that this "shitty Hawkgirl" beat him and caused

Yesterday I finally got the hate mail I've been practicing for so long: "You fucking block spammer". Yes, he was clearly outmatched and whenever this happens I tend to practice blocking and punishing. Where's the fun in rushing down someone and completely obliterate him in a few seconds?

Also, since I've made a couple of secondary accounts and enjoy resetting newbie-bashers kill streaks I get a lot more hate mail. It's awesome. Killing someones 38 win kill streak that is 700 to 150 or something is pure gold. The way some of them play it is apparent that they just go for negative or new players.

Wow, how you find all that out? I did a google search just now and got nothing. Interesting info, going by first impressions, I would not put it past the guy.

Here's one from today when I was using Ares:

him-"COWARD SPAMMER"

Something too good for the DS hatemail thread: I had a guy hatemail me for my character choice without even playing me. He declined to fight me and instead sent a message saying, "who r u supposed to be? the fakest DS? get the fuck out of here pussy"

And god help me if I even know what that means.

Finding it isn't a problem but checking it to make sure you have the correct guy can be a lot of work. For example, Rico Suave is a common name used in slang to describe a muscular, good locking, smooth male. There are a ton of people in the net calling themselves that and if we assume that 92 means the year of birth and that it is truthful then there are still about 12 active people in the US using that moniker. The trick is to follow the trail of certainty. You collect all the data you find and you sort it into "certainty categories". Then you use the data in the highest available "certainty category" to enhance your search and mine more data going down in certainty as the data flow slowly exhausts. Even lower quality data can lead you to information that can be sorted into higher tiers as you go along. You can then use the new data to enhance the previously attained results.

This here was literally only 10 minutes of research because this here is not important enough to spend a lot of time with. The email address and scam attempt is 100% certain so I posted it. I have various information from dating sites and of previous employments of "Daniel" but I would first need to connect them to his persona. As of now all this additional data isn't 100% certain although some of it is highly likely.

And to contribute to the thread, I had someone a little while ago, ryanfoxboy, send hatemail about my Green Lantern, complaining about my "spamming" and that I would have no chance if he picked Deathstroke and "spammed". So I humored him for a runback, but I picked Shazam. No crying about zoning there. I beat him, and then he accused me of "combo spam". Pretty soon the only button you'll be allowed to press is stance switch.

Ok, so this isn't really 'hate' mail per say, but i found it hilarious.
I'm playing Sinestro against a DS that wanted to sit full screen.
I outzoned him so he decides to take the bunny hop approach and jump towards me.
EVERY time he jumped I hit him out of the air with a meteor, and when he got close I'd MB to send him back again.
I did this literally the whole match.
Afterwards I got a voicemail of what sounded like a 10 year old on the verge of tears
"STOP DROPPING YOUR BALLS ON MY HEAD, ITS NOT FAIR, THEY'RE TOO BIG!!!"

Needless to say I laughed. :)

Once some dude rematched me just so he could get on mic and basically just shout obscenities until I beat him. I guess that's easier than typing them.

Is it just me or is it only the people who have at least three times the wins compared to losses that react in this way when you beat them? I think I've never received hatemail from someone with a somewhat balanced or negative win/loose ratio. It seems to reflect the personality however. I love to fight better opponents and usually rematch when I loose to try new characters and different game plans. My ratio is therefore pretty balanced and only slightly positive. Interestingly enough I often beat those 1200/200 guys which seems to infuriate them something fierce.

They don't like losing to people of which they consider "Lesser quality" so they make excuses as to why they lost in some step of this they become delusional and actually believe the excuse they made. I would know because I use to get salty after every lose playing to win simply isn't fun.

Hmm, when I loose to something that's cheap which the opponent abused time and again then I blame myself for not being able to figure out how to beat it. I'll rematch his ass until I figure it out and the opponent has no other choice than to change his game plan at which point he usually starts loosing. That is much more gratifying than perfecting someone that clearly doesn't understand the game and has probably not played any other fighting game previously. Additionally I have just learned something and the next guy I go up against won't be able to pull this same trick on me again. Like Doomsday I get better with every battle I loose.

I see this happen most often in Ranked Matches because usually there won't be a rematch so they just spout off about things they don't know about.
