Injustice Is the Top-Selling US Game of May

Two months ago, NPD released news that Injustice: Gods Among Us was the United States' best selling videogame software title during it's first month after release (April 2013). This week, NPD has again reported that Injustice was the #1 most popular title in the month of May. This makes two straight months that IGAU has reigned at the top of the sales charts.

VGChartz sales estimates have worldwide game sales of Injustice at around 1 million units to date (rough approximation). This is good news for fans of the game, and adds further fuel to NetherRealm's comments that the sales will likely justify a sequel sometime down the road.

With strong tournament viewership, both at majors and on a weekly basis, I:GAU is making its case for becoming a lasting fighting game community franchise.

Awesome. Come on NRS, show all these customers how a real company supports it's fans! More DLC skins and an entire Season 2 of fan-requested favorite characters!

Good job to the community, Reason it is topping sales charts is because it appeals to the casual gamer, which makes up more than 50% of the playerbase, Hopefully there will be a sequel, with more DC characters.... Ultimate Injustice: Gods Among Us lol

Ayy Lmao
This is great news. :)
This game deserved to sell well, given how balanced it is and how it shows which player has the better skills. There's nothing in this game that people can get "scrubbed out" with, everything was so thought out by NRS, it's almost scary. No other fighting game comes closes to this greatness of a game. Stay positive! :)

Next Announcement...
Gamestop announces Injustice can no longer be traded in due to being overstocked and unable to sell used copies.

This will be true after EVO if they don't put in fundamentals and balance this game

Don't be that guy, nobody likes 'that' guy. Well, except maybe those other guys that are like that guy.
Honestly I'm hoping that they do get these patches right and eliminate the things that causing this game's fundamentals to go down the drain. Right now, that feeling of dropping it after EVO is becoming more and more prevalent and many people don't expect it to make it to EVO next year in its current state. I hope NRS see's this because I for one want this game to last due to me being a DC fan, but honestly, my hope is fading. Sorry for being "that guy," but there was some honesty in my sarcasm.

You think you bad? You aint bad.
Some people just can't ever give props to success.
Every forum has some kinda hate on Injustice.
The game isn't broken and if it is so what? Other games has its flaws.
ven MK9. Let the DC fans have their game that they can enjoy.
My little brother loves this game.
I think Injustice deserved to be a top seller. Great game and well thought out. I'm glad they added some new stuff like interactabes and transitions. Not much of those in fighting games really.
Good stuff NRS :)
