Can Anyone Offer any advice or helpful tips for using Jade or Kitana? I've been practicing BnB's but i"m having a Lot of Trouble playing agaist players who use Heavy doses of projectiles and/or Teleport Attacks Like Scorion, Sub Zero and Kung Lao.

Any good advice on how to deal more effectively with these attacks? Can't seem to access the general strategy section for either of these Ladies...Still Looking for ppl to practice with or Spar Against as well I don't care about records I'd actually prefer to play some high level players so they can help me better understand how to improve...Gamertag is Hitman522 Thanks a lot for reading

I'm usually on in the afternoon and late at night, too. I'll toss you a FR. I can't help you with Jade or Kitana, though. I use Cage, Noob, and NW.

Played a bunch of good matches in the room this guys reptile was blowing me with runs I could barely touch him another with Kitana. Learned some good shit though I was the guy using Lui Kang/Jade/Smoke/Kitana. My Jade is the best :boxing:

Jade should have no problem with projectiles, use the glow into boomerang! If the opponent has a teleport and gets wise to this, use the glow and then just block. Kitana really needs to use air fans to get them out fast enough. If you can't do them low enough to be effective, try dash blocking/square boosting to get closer.

Also if I'm Waiting at mdscreen to counter or Punish and I use Jade's Shadow Kick to close Distance and it gets blocked can I Dash block back and not get punished? I would Like to use it more more but wasn't really sure how safe it was against a decent player.

Lastly any good tips on how to execute Kitana's Instant Air Fan more effectively I'm Having real trouble Learning it. Thanks to everyone who has helped me here this community has been a great resource and made MK more enjoyable wish I would've Learned about it sooner. I'm still learning but I def understand more complex things now that I never knew existed before thanks again everyone feel free to add me on Live I'm pretty laid back and new to this forum so It would be great to meet some more members. Yes, AIXXL, but I think my gold is about to run out, if it hasn't already. I'll probably renew if online gets better with the patch.
I think the kick is safe to use, up 3/FK is also good to use from range, you can even get an xray off of it if you time it right. I find up down or down up for Kitana's instant air fan really hard to do fast on a controller so my best advice is to use an arcade stick if you have one. But otherwise, you just have to be fast with it, especially from further away as the fan moves up slightly.

Thanks Man your advice is greatly appreciated...Awesome Skarlet Pics too!...Since Your fimiliar with Jade have you found any techniques particularly useful against Scorpion and Sub? With Sub most everyone i've played goes freeze blast, Slide, Ice Clone, and repeat. I find myself jumping to try to stay moving and of course that leads to getting caught A Lot. With Scorp I get Demon Fired to death along with Teleport then Speared and X-Rayed when I'm Stunned. Any tips here would be great cause I noticed Sub and Scorp are very popular characters. Thanks Again for the Helpful advice

Sub is probably the easiest character for Jade if all he is doing is trying to freeze you, glow goes through both of those freeze moves. For slide, you just have to stay on the ground and block low, that's all. Jade should always be grounded unless you are up close or facing someone who can't take advantage of a jump back/forward. For Scorpion, glow works against spear so you actually want him to use it because it has long recovery if it misses. Jade has much better range than he does so just close the gap and not worry about hellfire.

I've ran into this guy too... He did the same stuff to me. he was unbearable the first 3 games but started to be a bit cooler once you talked back to him lol.

I've beaten Milky but he's very good and tough with Reptile...he really makes you work bigtime.

Also, lionheart has a nice Sub-Zero as does Alitivia on here, his Sub is one of the best out there. He utilizes a lot of Tom Brady tactics.

Idk if anybody has played isohighwinning this guy rages super hard. He got so pissed he started repeating himself and spamming teleports if thesabiie is in here he knows of this guy.

Yeah definitely, the guy takes shit way too serious, I understand trash talking, but he won't shut up. I just leave any room he's in, because it's just not fun playing with people like that. On a side note, I haven't seen your jade, or have I? I really need to learn how to counter some of these characters. Oh btw, thanks for a lot of you guys helping me with my game when I ask questions. I think that's the real benefit of this site.

Well... I wouldnt call myself a scrub but i definitely need to work on some stuff to get better. Im tired of getting my ass kicked by other people online and im looking for sparring partners on xbl that can hopefully let me know what im doing wrong.

Players that are good with Ermac Sub Zero and Sektor(My mains)are highly welcomed.

ill help you with sektor and sub zero, im very good with them both. ermac im adept with but i wouldnt call myself anything special. i can show you a nice 53% with sub that is easy to pull off and i can show you a great up down mind game also. and on sektor i can show you a 1 bar 48% or a 2 bar 53% that is relative in difficulty

Yeah, a lot of people take shit way too serious. Played a guy in Netherrealm other night named Mikori, something like this was 6 people I won 4 in a row and left because the damn lag was like walking thru mud and the guy just bombards me with hate mail....fucking idiot. lol Some people have no life seriously, they tell you "get one for kicking their ass" yet who's the ones going all pms on you for winning? lol

yea that dude started using racial slurs in a room yesterday. I filed a complaint on him with xbox.
