Scorpion actually got buffed/No Black Adam Nerf

Apparently I'm retarded for thinking a character that gets meter like all of you kids get candy on halloween shouldn't be able to leave himself at +9 from any attack or any situation for one bar when it's super easy to recognize if you even need to use the meter.

Why are people still pretending that any of the issues with Scorpion had anything to do with just throwing out or punishing naked regular teleports?

Stop saying "yeah well he needs to MB to make it safe so it costs meter so it's ok lol didn't you play MK9?!?!" I won't explain why TP MB is better in injustice, and please at least try to understand this. For like the 5th time, you don't even need to use MB unless whatever you cancelled into the teleport from gets blocked.. You can do that from literally every single attack or string he has.

So if you're punishing regular teleports just fine so you think it's ok, good job blowing up 12 year old bad online scorpions.

It's kinda whatever though. I don't really see the point in convincing anyone. imo this game as a whole is kinda bad anyway.
 
I can't even punish the teleport anymore--the whiff recovers too quickly. This is absolutely insane. I'm going to quit until they fix this bullshit.

You can easily punish it. I had a brief time where I had to readjust my brain to the new animation, but it's plenty punishable and easier to hit with standard BnBs than the backflip which left him airborne.

Aquaman's b12 and 22 wouldn't hit in time. It was a particularly laggy match, but my combo attempts missed 8 out of 8 times. Still, I'm not playing Injustice until they balance it more. It's still a disaster.

The fact that you're complaining that you can't beat Scorpion with Aquaman, who destroys him, and complaining about balance while also playing Aquaman, who is absolutely insane and amazing, makes me not think that you quitting is a huge loss for the community.

First, let me start my apologizing. I don't want to start another needless argument. I want to get better. If you want to help the community, then help me out.

Now... Yes, Aquaman is a fantastic character, but he still has to work for his damage. His main mixup (b12 vs. b2) can be defended against simultaneously. And he doesn't have many safe options. Trident throw? Scoop? From the deep? Trident rush? None of these are safe. Neither is a naked b2, and canceling it into an u3 isn't much better. In any case, I don't see any way to combat Scorpion. You can sit there and eat hellfires. You can move and eat teleports. Or you can just forward and eat ATA full combos. Scorpion's design makes it so your only option is to jump forward, which you KNOW is a stupid option. But it's still your only option.

And as far as punishing his teleport, b12 and 22 were too slow. Maybe it was lag. But I couldn't hit it. I can probably catch him with an uppercut, but I'd have to use meter to punish with 28% or so. Which is silly.

EDIT: Also, I don't think that Aquaman is overpowered. If he's zoning you, press down. You can't say that about other characters like Scorpion or Grundy. Even Superman has overhead zoning options. You're never safe from these three characters. Aquaman's zoning can be annoying, but it's not overpowered.

I'm pretty sure there's at least one other video detailing how Aquaman blows scorpion up. Also, just go into training mode and practice punishing his teleport. It's seriously not that hard even online, and it's now easier to land bigger combos on him since he ends up grounded.

You kids up in your higher tiers are spoiled with good and fast attacks, and easy links. Why back in my day, we had to link together the smallest of frames just to link two punches together.

back in your day? you still have to 2 do that in Kof13, sfxtk, and ssf4ae.. only thing in kof13 as far as I know there isnt an easier way of p-linking normals .. and in TTT2 there are just frame moves

the thing that sucks about playing against scorpion is that you have 2 approach him waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay differently than the whole cast... only other character that I approach so differently besides him is batgirl... it sucks when your character doesnt have great footies options... like I have to abandon almost all of cyborgs options for straight toe to toe offense while respecting his and her wake up options..

their telly's kind of goes against the traditional 1 v 1 way especially since they grant combo opportunities on hit... never seen that in any fighting game Ive played and I thought full screen projectiles that hit overhead or low were stupid as hell... boy was I wrong lol

idk if your trying to be a smart ass or if your being sincere? lol anyways I actually play rush down cyborg the way he is meant to be played all the way down to his 60% corner combos to his missile oki game.. In short, I use all of his tools so whatever.. as far as UMVC3 which I guess thats what you were talking about which I have no clue on why you would bring up that terrible game, yes I do play that game from time to time... I actually play one of the highest execution character in the game in cviper.. however it takes faaaaaaaaaar more skill to play SSf4 as I knoww guys that are beast in UMVC3 but can not play ssf4 for shit lol.... however I know tons of SF4 players that play umvc3 very well...

if your talking about Mvc2 welp I can tell you right now that I use to work at funcoland (the company gamestop bought out) my senior year in high school when it was released on dreamcast so yeah Ive played the shit out of that too...

on topic scorpion is made very differently from everyone so you have to play his game and rush him down.... also scorpions nerfs really didnt hurt him that much... he is still good
