How would a Killer Instinct tournament even work?....

With the sharing issue + the online check in issue the game becomes absolutely impractical for TOs to deal.

This is so depressing, the game looks like it has so much potential from Spooky's tweets and first impressions.

Fuck you Microsoft.

Why are you talking about PS4 in a Killer Instinct thread? Where are the mods? We get it, you don't like the system and are mad KI isn't on it. So don't buy it and let us who are into it be into it.

From Spookys twitter, it sounds like its basically a new and improved KI2.

Seems fast and fluid, and the combo breaker system is improved so you can actually do long combos.

There are command normals now, Saberwulf has guys run.

Each character has a unique install/xfactor/darkforce/trait thing, Saberwulfs increases his chip and damage.

Combos still involve auto and manual doublers, and the game seems to reward longer combos.

Well... Console war is always on but all I'm saying is this: right now Microsoft promised me a game I care about. Maybe the Sony's conference will give me 10 more and I'll buy a Ps4.
I can't really understand why people become fanatics about the brand on products.

I understand ur point but Killer Instinct is literally the only game they showed that personally made me say damnit I can't play it on PS4?!? Outside of that all of the big next-gen games coming soon,new IP's and franchises I'm already interested in and gained new interest in today are playable on PS4(including franchises I was dying to play but couldn't since they were Sony exclusive)....so I'm fine leaving Microsoft behind for greener pastures that's all I'm sayin. No way I'd pay $600 for one cool game plus deal with all the crap they're introducing with the hardware,regardless of how much I wish I could play and/or try it out *shrug*

...and the news I read from Sony are great (except the one about mandatory plus subscription for online multiplayer).
Less expensive-more powerful console?

Positively shameful.

There's enough time for them to turn it around, and I hope they do. Obviously wouldn't really affect development if they give you a few more free characters off the bat.

A free "rotation" might be interesting, a la League of Legends, could be interesting as well. But only giving you one character in a fighter? SMH. If Jago's not your type it's pretty much a guaranteed turn-off from spending any money in the game or learning it. Gotta provide better variety of characters in both gameplay and aesthetics (since people gravitate to one or both of these, generally).

Yea as I understand it thus far Playstation Plus is required for online multiplayer but it's only $5 a month(or $50 for a year),that's amazing considering what I've been paying monthly for XBL and Sony's bringing exclusive content,nice bonuses and free to play games,etc to it's Plus members on top of that. So I have absolutely NO prob with it and feel it's not only fair but awesome. Less expensive,more powerful,gamer centric console indeed
