It's hard to judge this crap when you rarely fight good players playing these other characters. I have experience with like half the cast.

Here's what I think of the matchups in which I've played some pretty solid players:

Batman (4-6)
Superman (3-7 or 4-6)
Aquaman (5-5)
Wonder Woman (5-5)
Green Lantern (4-6 or 5-5)
Nightwing (3-7)
Black Adam (4-6)
Grundy (7-3)
Lex (7-3)
Raven (6-4)
Doomsday (6-4)

And I am 100% sure my feelings could easily change if I got to sit down and play a ton of matches against someone really good on a lot of these characters.

You're right with the way to approach the match, but I guess the guy was just making some great reads and was in general a solid player.

Yes, that's the one. I almost threw my controller. I mean, I was very fucking impressed you made so many good reads cause I'm a former national tournament player in soul calibur and I don't think I have that obvious patterns. So you made that many good guesses, really good shit.

I need some food, but yeah. Honestly it wasn't a matter of making good guesses, I kept pumping those resets and I know the only viable options you have in that short of a time is a roll motion so basically venom upper. Everything else is too motion intensive to throw out before the reset keeps going.

That and I kept snagging you with that reset mid-screen for that unfiltered 54% on top of the combo.

Nightwing can kind of do whatever he wants and keep us at the range we really don't want to be in. Plus flying grayson, the stupid fucking air projectile, is very frustrating

Raven can't do... anything like ever.

And he has safe on block wake up options. The staff spin is fucking like -38 but I couldn't punish it at all. Same with his dive kick wake up thing. Pretty safe on block although you can hit him out of the air if you predict it.

And the staff spin is hard to stuff. The timing has to be just right or you're eating it.

Do you guys try to whiff punish Nightwing? I think Raven is a little more problematic for Bane. Probably along the lines with Green Lantern's keepout except she doesn't have miniguns but rather her grab comes out fast and covers like the entire screen if you're not blocking bit.

Yep. And once her meter is gone she ain't doin much on combos and you can charge her projectiles without fear. God help her if you get lucky and time level 3 to coincide with her MB B3.

Honestly we can go level 3 openly against her, just do f.2d bops on wake-up and if she gets low, hit her with that OHVCS tech.

Block is not strong against Bane. If you're blocking you're going to get blown up sooner or later. If someone blocks it's basically a success. You get another free double punch, a command grab if they like to walk back, or both in succession. Playing against Bane is a non-stop guessing game really.

Also, I've been doing the J.d3, b.23, dash under, reverse J.d3, b.23 into combo "reset" the last couple days and that shit is dirty. Works every single time against people who don't like to roll and would rather stay still to wake up.

I feel like Green Arrow is a 5-5 AT WORST. I've played a lot of GA's, but I don't know if any of them were really all that great.

Yeah honestly even against people who like to roll, you can just keep smacking down b.23s and you'll catch them out of the roll.

I think Black Adam is a worse match up than Superman, so I would rate it at 3-7. His back dash is just too good. He can get away and stay away so easily, and his damage is just crazy.
