Stop overrating MK9's Balance, Injustice is better

Most people who complain about the imbalance of this game have trouble because it is something new and have trouble adapting. Had injustice been released before mk people would be complaining about mk

Injustice is not balanced, this is bullshit. In mk9 kabal took a lot of execution and skill. In Injustice, anybody can pick up Super-Man and be good, his zoning is braindead easy and the character is braindead easy. This is the reason Supes has won the most majors so far and will continue.

In mk9, reo was the only person who won majors consistently with Kabal. When reo was not present in a tourney, random viable characters would win a tourney.

I should have been like a few others and claimed my character was terrible or "not that bad" and saved the dirt for release because I'm not sure how today I sit here w this game and realize MY character was the only one taken to the rape wagon in the back yard and beaten

I honestly should have not done my job and said my character was worthless

Cyborg is mostly a zoner though. Kabal was controlling the entire screen. You as much as sneeze from anywhere - poof he is in your face raping your health bar. Ok you can bring up the infinite, but that won't stay for long anyway.
As far as the bottom tiers go... Bane comes pretty close to what you described.

Sinestro gets beat 2-8 by a lot of characters. He has no safe options, not that the other characters are too strong. Sinestro needs a buff. Even if other characters get nerfed, you will continue to get the begeezus beat out of Sinestro by a lot of characters because he has no safe options.

batamn, aquaman, black adam, superman, cyborg, GL, nightwing, green arrow, WW, deathstroke, doomsday, and killer frost are all perfectly capeable of trading major wins in tournaments at the highest level..

how about viable characters? At the VERY LEAST grundy, catwoman, ares, hawkgirl, raven, flash.

Thats 18 VIABLE tournament characters and 12 that can CONSISTENTLY win majors. Don't ever try to convince anyone that MK9 was even close to that..

How can you say FOR SURE that those characters are capable of winning a major? When MK9 first came out, most people thought that a large portion of the characters were capable of winning despite the results of those early tournaments. How is this any different? You have said yourself that you still have a lot to learn about this game, as do all of us. When all is said and done, the dirt that the top tiers have might totally mitigate the strengths of other characters.

I criticize NRS more than anyone else on this website for unjustly nerfing characters. Besides, I know what nerfs feel like. Remember that Kano was my first main character in MK before he was bombarded by unnecessary nerfs.

Even if Batgirl is the Smoke of Injustice, I can be objective and state that Injustice is still the better game overall. Why? No input bug. No meter drain glitches. No stupid blocking mechanics.

I understand that Sinestro was nerfed while others were left untouched. I definitely support reasonable buffs in the next patch.

Just remember -- this is Vanilla. And not Vanilla in a game like Tekken Tag 2 that's been a long iteration of similar mechanics and moves over years and years. It's Vanilla in a new IP, with new characters, new moves, new mechanics, and its own style of gameplay. To me that means 2 things:

1) It's probably too soon to be 100% specific on balance.. It'll take some time to see what every chracter is like when played to their fullest potential.

but 2) The issues that are there (and there is no vanilla game in a new IP that is without balance issues) will take correcting over time, and that's why the hotfix tweaking system exists and was put in place.

So why jump to either extreme; "There's never anything wrong with the game or characters, everything is 100% fine and nothing will ever be need to be changed" is way over to one side and "Everything's out of wack and completely unbalanced" is way to the other side; the real answer is probably somewhere in the middle of those two.

Not for nothing, but if the testers weren't allowed to enter tournaments immediately after the release of the game, you wouldn't get this conflict of interest.
