Sheeva isn't Goro's wife. Goro is her husband.
So some hints for both players. Hawkgirl needs to conserve meter for when Bane is in Venom. Bane needs to bully Hawkgirl with armor so long as she doesn't have/use meter.

I'm glad Hawkgirl is getting some love, although I'm not liking that every video as of late shows her winning. Please don't nerf her :(

I still stand by my statement that this is the only match-up Bane doesn't get destroyed in. Granted, it's no easy win for Bane either. I wouldn't put it at 7-3. 6-4? Sure.

That's what I was thinking big_aug . The Charge seems like it should eat that backflip every time. The last Hawkgirl I played I used Venom upper as I saw the backflip happening and it caught her and started the situation over again.

Good point...she can also wake up with wing evade as well.

I like to play bad characters
Had my first mirror match online today, first time running into another Bat Breaker, that alone was pleasing. I know it's been discussed before so I won't beat a dead horse.

He was far more aggressive than me, but was only really trying to cross up and use 112/223 combo or venom uppercut with a few double punchs, basically he was going rushdown hard. He quit after I hooked him up with our BnB's though. After that it became a game of who could bait the other into whiffing. He also didn't use the venom hardly at all, maybe 3 times in 8 matches and only lvl 1. Not sure if he was aware of it's properties or just didn't want the debuffs. Ultimately it was his loss in a few of the matches. So that's my cool story about my first mirror on line :cool:

Also I need to work on a secondary or 2. Who are you guys working with besides Bane?

That's what I get on mirrors. It usually goes to who can land the most command grabs, have the best setups and manage venom right.

I've been working on Batman and Joker as secondary characters. I liked the idea of having a few toolbox characters for other situations.

My mains are Bane and Deathstroke right now. I'm learning Ares but I haven't 'clicked' with him yet so the process is slow.

The Bane mirror is a fun one. It depends on who can out space the other and take the most damage. iMLGzus and I have some really intense matches. :D

I can't seem to find another that I click with, the search is ongoing. Kind of hoping I like Batgirl when she comes around, think eveyrone is though.

Yo, the matches me and RYX have always come down to the wire. The thought process going on is on a-whole-nother level. More reads than a public library...(shut up, it made sense...)

Usually it always ends with me slipping up once, when we're both on red life, and I eat a lvl 3 venom BS MB for like 33% health lol.

I need to stop eating three command grabs in a row lol. Those matches are too hype. Bane mirror matches, top tier in hype ;_;

Getting better with age
Played a few more Bane vs Hawkgirl. Really starting to see what Runway meant about a good HG isn't going to allow you to antiair. Dismembering this chick is going to be my new pet project. I'm not leaving the lab this week until I have an 8 piece bucket of bitch in my hands

I'm going to be working on figuring out Batman and Superman. Those match ups are horrendous but we need a plan. :16Bit

Ares is also not a bad match up. If it weren't for ax ignoring projectile immunity and beating armor I'd say this was advantage Bane since he can get in fairly easy.

It is bane because Ares suffers in his inability to wake-up. We are strongest where he is weakest.

Zoning Char are obvious, but I also have issues with the very fast ones like Flash or Nightwing if they are rushing hard. All thier normals beat our B23 launcher and I've had specials stuffed too. How do you guys handle them?

Against flash, I like to actually keep a distance and try to bait out running-man stance. Once he goes into it and starts running, I knock him down and back out again.

Nightwing I just play close but defensive, I never really have the trouble against him barring wake-up flip stomp.

I've been learning to back away more with Flash because you're right he can be punished. But I can't lie, when they can't zone I just want to rush them down and grind them into the dirt and I end up making mistakes or a bad read/decision.

Do you ever not use the standard launchers against these types of chars because they can beat it and just go with some other set ups? It's so engrained in me it's hard not to use it lol.
