Ummm, sir...I believe that title will go to me, seeing as how you were able to beat me multiple times. So if someone as bad as you can beat me, that means that I must be the worst Bane!

I wish I could claim the title of worst Bane. I just faced Pig of the Hut's Sinestro / Lex Luthor and I think I went about 4W-20L

My Black Adam went about 5-5

RunwayMafia out of curiosity, did you happen to record the Bane/Catwoman matches? I felt I was in a better mood and could play better then, it'd be nice to see me not suck. ;_;

I actually won the Bane Catwoman set. I had to take a break after Hawkgirl because of salt and I was pissed before due to online scrubs and their... scrubbery. :mad:

It's cool though. Fuck Hawkgirl though.

oh and my venom management was terrible. Just because I can't go from scrubs to good players. ;_;

Some positive things I think I did:
-Using Venom Charge to stop her wake-ups. I like that.
-Nothing else. :(

Hawkgirl is INCREDIBLY annoying with a life lead here. I don't think there's really much Bane can do about. Her incredible difficulty to punish takes away a huge asset of Bane's since she can just fuck with his spacing. Mace Charge avoids command grab so that anti-wakeup option is moot even with Venom(it doesn't connect and you just eat shit.)

If Bane can corner her, the game is over. But it is just agonizing trying to do it throughout if you're not amazing with Venom management and timing.

MB Mace throw beats his armor if he's not on level 3 and regular Mace will recover fast enough to block beyond half screen.

Bane NEEDS meter to be at least a semi-adequate punisher here. Can't block punish so he'll need to armor her shit. Don't ever level 3 because the cooldown is death for you.

She can just do little chips at his health from an area he can't touch due to not having a single damn thing for zoning or counter-zoning. Conclusion: This match-up is not good. I don't think it's entirely hopeless but right now I'm saying it's 3-7.

I found it an interesting match up. I've yet to face a Hawkgirl, but am familiar with her as I've messed with her a little bit. It looked like it was incredibly frustrating to get close to her where you needed to be and she poked out our main BnB starter. The reach of f3 helped you out a few times for sure and you capitolized on it. tbh not sure if you meant to do it or were going for a grab, but you made it work.

Something I noticed, only watching the first 10 minutes or so of the first video, when you score a knockdown off charge you back up. Why not go in? You said BS doesn't work but what about armored DP? If she wakes up with mace charge, delay the DP a bit and it should catch and knockdown again. Something worth trying.

I'm about 12 mins in. Hawkgirl was very predictable on the wake-up attack, the rage charge would have eaten that up more. I saw you got in on that toward the third match. I'm curious to see if a Venomed up Venom Uppercut could stop that was-up.

She's got the advantage being able to fly and spam that wake-up and mace throw, especially the meter burn.

I watched about half of the first video and most of the last. Against Hawkgirl, I use charge every time I get a knockdown. If not, you'll keep eating those stupid wakeups in the face. Please block my charge and eat my next armored special in the face. Eventually, they'll realize they can't do that shit and you can then proceed as normal. Some questions I'd ask:

Why were you backdashing after you got knockdowns? Why are you wasting meter on MB charge? Why jump against Hawkgirl? Why not follow a whiffed double punch with another armored special? Why try to wakeup without armor? Why ever go straight to lvl 2 venom?

I don't think Hawkgirl is too terribly bad.

I've never had the pleasure of playing anyone from TYM except Boot Nocka, who does not appear to be active on the boards since MK9. So as usual, my input is probably useless.
