By the way, use Raging Charge instead of b1 double punch. No grab state and 15% plus knockdown. Unless b.1 DP takes care of other wake ups?
Raging Charge can be baited out for some character, and for all its worth they can't punish but they can backdash guard and we can't do a darn thing about it since us being + on block is irrelevant when it doesn't jail. b.1 DP does the same job, and b.1 has a lot more options.

Also, the start-up on charge is so telegraphed, where as b.1 can be converted into just about anything.

What is telegraph. You can charge mid wake up and still smash them in the trade, and them respecting that god damn charge makes your knockdowns much more lethal.

B.1 doesn't take care of invincible wake ups I.e slide and corps charge. Charge works very nicely every once in a while.

To be fair you need a solid mix, however some character like to MB b.3 us in response which, mind you, WILL beat out the charge against some characters.

Also people like Shazam have an answer in his tele, because when he clash with his frames we get guard stagger and he doesn't.

Of course it's not against anybody. But throwing it out and crushing wake ups with it(and the resulting knockdown with it) is very helpful for opening people up, especially when Venom is active. In other situations I don't think there's enough time to MB b.3 us(like checking their wake up)

Soon as they see you rear back that's the que to do it. If you can crush wake-ups with a mid charge, why not simply do command grab?
Or double punch, being an overhead....

Neither work consistently versus Killer Frost's slide from my experience. Much more lax on its timing and if need be I can reverse them closer to a wall with no meter like command grab requires.

I was talking about Grundy specifically. The B1 DP is great for the WC wake up.

Yea, I use charge a ton on wake up. It stops people from jumping and dashing. I use charge quite a bit at close range period.

Anyways as I said, you need a solid mix. I personally don't like using the charge against KF on wake-up, I prefer double punch.

I'd not try it, its not necessary against her. If you mis-time it by even a smidgen, she gets about 35-40% meterless.

Just stick to armoring through everything against her.
Timing has to be PERFECT or she gets you with the slide, even with armor.

Worst come to, risk the venom upper.
Eh, I was wrong. The timing isn't really bad. I was just doing it wrong lol
