The shotgun specials seem frivolous and his overhead/low game is easy to see (slow ass overhead, low that goes into little damage) but mid range game with chain is good, his dash is fast as hell and can go under high projectiles, and his chain whip move where he charges forward I can picture being good to close space.

Not to mention a great AA, dive punch, and legit command grab that leads to his biggest damage. Unlike Shazam's fraudulent grabs.

Mid-Upper Mid at least. I can foresee problems against heavy zoners though.

She is top no doubt, and slide is the best special move in the game. Not the best character in the game, however...but just my opinion. I don't feel she has options even close to other characters regarding opening people up (outside of slide). When people find a way to deal with the slide other characters will pose MUCH greater problems with their ridiculous normals and advantage strings that lead into mixups/setups.

I agree with S tier though so no worries.

Regarding the rest of the list....

Green Arrow is ridiculous and I think will probably be the biggest "Stock Up" type character over the next year or so.

Sinestro is a lot better than he is given credit for.

Flash's placement makes sense this early on, but I think he will be another character to rise up the tier list as the game goes on. I think there is a lot of dirt that will be found for him. Plus any character that has a fast low and fast advancing overhead starter, and easy hit confirmable combos can really never be low tier.

So if I'm reading this chart right Doomsday is a pretty strong character in some respects but has quite a few drawbacks?

Green Arrow is pretty good. Probably his biggest advantage is being hard to block from ranges 2-3.

Sinestro is ok but he lives and dies by his trait.

I think Flash's position will depend heavily on how his trait is developed in the future. Right now rushdown characters are in a bad way because of all the universal defensive options. Also, his specials are for the most part pretty unsafe so that doesn't help.

That's the basic idea. Doomsday is brutal but has a lot of holes in his most important tools which I see becoming an issue.

I'd disagree with this chart on almost every level. Top two characters at this point are clearly Superman and Black Adam. Killer Frost isn't even in the top 5 anymore.

Everyone seems to forget that tier lists are based off of match ups and not on how good the actual character is. Kabal is #1 in MK9 because the match up is always in his favor as opposed to Sheeva who struggles in every match up. You can not determine who is top or bottom tier when top tier characters are still losing to "low tier" characters. Sure, at the moment Green Lantern is "top tier" and I agree that he is at least top 10, but we still have to see how match ups evolve down the road. Plus, we need to wait for all the DLC characters.

I made a matchup chart thread but nobody posts in it. I guess people would rather just whine about one persons personal opinion about tiers

Catwoman is way better than ppl put her to be, dont sleep on her she has cat stance cancels that make some of her stuff safe and hard to read, once ppl like Maxter that main her, start using cat stance cancels in block strings and stuff she will most definitelly be one of the most anoying chars to fight.

This is very strange, i feel like some of this stuff is spot on, but others like Lex Luthor, Flash and Sinestro are extremely off point. Like to the point where i have no idea where you could be coming from

Also, it appears Wonder Woman is still being underrated

Anyone that thinks superman is top 2 top 5 in this game needs to stop playing scrubs in ranked. Learn the game. He's top 10 for sure but everyone that KT smith has in his upper tier area on both sides go pretty even with superman and he may kick the living shit out of the lower tiers but he's not doing that to the other 15 characters in the game.

Its not that Superman has amazing damage/zoning, its that he is very safe in his optimal playstle.
