Petition to ban the ferris airfield stage (Glitch)

Also there has always been stages in NRS games that have had distracting backgrounds that get in the way, like the Street in MK9 where cars just drove out infront of players covering alot, but My game was not put off, only the first couple of times It happened to me.
Distracting backgrounds that cover 90% LITERALLY of the whole fucking screen? Dude, get real, you can't see ANYTHING.
Qwark is right. If I recall correctly, the Street was banned in competitive tournaments for that reason: cars drove in front of the screen. Certain characters can do certain moves while concealed behind a vehicle. Like Mileena, she could use her Roll special and be hidden behind a passing car.

A near-fullscreen obstruction doesn't warrant a ban, when a little bothersome traffic is enough for the Street to be banned?
If we're going to ban a stage can we ban Superman too? That mach up sucks for Adam.
Nah, it's fair game.
Stages are a different matter, supposedly.

I've actually never noticed this happen before, and never had a problem like that of MK streets in Injustice, but i'm sure it happens sure sure, He just flipped out though lol.

Except a player who is clever enough to use the stage that way shouldn't have a ban restrict them.

The street shouldn't have been banned and neither should this.

Here's something sirlin said about bans.

Sirlin said:
A bug that gives players a small advantage does not warrant a ban. In fact, it’s common. Many players don’t even realize they are using bugs, but instead view them as “advanced tactics.” Even bugs that have a huge effect on gameplay are usually not warranted to be banned. The game may change with the new tactic, but games are resilient and there tend to be countermeasures (sometimes other bugs) to almost everything.

I'm chill, I don't get why you thought I was salty about a stage bug, the only thing I was and WILL be forcing is people reading the OP before posting irrelevant posts, confusing the bug I'm talking about with interactibles.
I didn't confuse what you had meant, I did like some Intractable posts though, I agree with it, whether or not it's off topic XD
I haven't seen this bug though yet I don't think, I'll play on that stage tonight.

garbage don't try to get a level banned, just learn to play on it. It is currently my favorite level and I have never had an issue on it.

Wow it is incredible how many people didn't read the OP at all.

Qwark28 can you try and figure out how to cause the glitch?
In a few hours when I have access to my PS3 yeah.

I just remembered this glitch happening before but I had forgot about it because the only thing it did was conceal a projectile, when it happened again I saw it depends on the distance between you and your opponent.

Fullscreen IIRC it can conceal some projectiles, the closer you get to your op the more of the screen is covered. When within poking distance you can barely make out the stage itself, much less the characters.

I don't want to discredit your potential findings, but do we really need a PETITION FOR BAN thread about every thing somebody finds randomly while playing with some friends. Can we wait until it actually pops up in a situation of merit and has an actual outcome on something before we start deciding a whole damned stage needs to go?

man u guys are really blowing him up just cause he wants more balance in the game. its not like hes asking to ban interactables. he wants 1 stage 1 stage banned. and u guys all get ur panties in a bunch. best part is 90% of the people saying things i have never heard of before / seen in a tournament. so honestly ur opinions dont mean as much. u dont play for $ youre just online casuals it seems. If youre playing for 2000$ and you lose cause of some stage blocking ur view you would be pissed not say oh he just used "advanced tactics" think like a tournament player.

I knew of the street being banned in MK9 and the GoW stage as well, due to the earthquake that occurs it apparently would happen so randomly that the players would get way too distracted. All I'm saying is people throw the ban hammer way too quick and he was discuss the interactibles too, by pointing out how bothersome the missiles are because they reload. You may be right about banning due to glitch, which I have noticed occurs on multiple levels not just Ferris Airfield, I've seen it on the Metropolis stage. I feel that in the higher level tournys the interactibles will eventually get a ban as well as the transitions too.

I was playing for 2000$ and lost because of Superman.

Can we ban Superman please?

I've actually heard of this before. Has it been confirmed that this was not one of the bugs that was addressed in yesterday's update?

Because I still feel the need......the need to send a red toolbox to my opponent's faces.

What's really necessary is a petition to more stage varieties, we've a lot of Batman's stages and no one from Green Arrow for example.

Where art thou, MKX Skarlet?
does a stage really affect your gameplay so much it makes you lose?
I don't think any stage has helped decide the fate of any tournament so far.
This made me lol. If you don't think stages are influencing how all matches are played, you may not be paying attention.

On topic, I haven't seen this big but if it's as bad as it sounds, we banned 2 stages from mk9 because of visibility issues. It was the right decision and there's no reason to think banning stages in Injustice that are bugged is a bad thing. When they're fixed, they can be unbanned. Completely legitimate.

And for those saying, essentially, don't call for a stage ban before it changes the outcome of a tournament... by then it's too late. As human beings we have the power of foresight. There's no reason not to use logic to preemptively stop a potentially shitty situation from occurring if we know about it beforehand.

This is all assuming it's as bad as qwark is saying. A video would help this, BTW.
