[RUMOR] GET OVER HERE? 4 DLC Characters Revealed

This one forum site isn't a very good test sample for popularity. NRS was most likely developing the DLC character since the time the game was announced last year, so I doubt any requests made here had a large impact on the choices. Each character takes a good amount of time to develop whether they have similar powers to a pre-existing character or not.

As for those other characters you listed. I love most of them, but they can't hold a book (save for Swamp Thing) and Batgirl can, if that says anything. She's been in Batman TAS, The Batman, and Young Justice, as well as the Adam West Batman show where she was seen as somewhat of a feminist icon (not on par with Wonder Woman, of course). It's likely they hope her inclusion will draw in more female gamers.

You know what you are right and you know why? coz that is DC's fucked up logic! For them it has always all been about Batman and Superman and their sidekicks! Again if they took time, made films, cartoons, tv shows with those characters as much as they do with ESPECIALLY Batman they would have more chance to sell like Batman and the Batfamily do! But no! They will make 200 Batman movies and tv shows, 50 Superman movies and tv shows and 1 or 2 here and there other movies!
And this is where ladies and gentlemen Marvel is the better one! VARIETY! they never concentrate too much on just 1 ! well they concentrate a little on Spiderman but they have done Xmen, Thor, Cpt America, Avengers, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Elektra, Blade, Daredevil, Punisher... and they are even making Guardians of the Galaxy and ANTMAN FOR FUCKS SAKE!
And i am gonna say this again Batgirl is successful because she is BATfamily! and you and we all know how DC (sorry to say this but) sucks Batman's penis!
There i expressed my anger! And i still don't believe that the Batgirl, zod and scorpion thing is true!

DC doesn't have very much control over who does or does not get their own movie. The only reason Marvel has such diversity in their movie-line is because they own their own studio. I'm sure DC would like to put out movies for Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the rest, but their owned by WB, so whatever they say goes in the movie department.
Marvel also leased out their rights to a variety of different studios (Fox owns X-Men and Elektra, Sony own Spider-Man, etc) which is why there are so many different Marvel movies.

gay or straight dont matter to me the more charachters the better as long as they are new 52 dcu . guest charachter wise i would love to see rorshac ( just rewatched watchmen today) and maybe even dr manhattan.

rorshac could make an interesting brawler if you look at his fighting style

And I said it before, and I'll say it again. I would much prefer Batgirl in this game that Power Titties. My only problem I've had with Barbara Gordon as a character wasn't even her fault, it was the fault of crappy writing. I know a lot of people give the New 52 crap(mostly well deserved), but at least they finally got Babs out of the damn wheelchair. Considering how quick Bruce was back on his feet after his fight with Bane, it should've worked out for Barbara too. But no, they left her in that chair for years. Yes, she was helping, but she also wasn't shown to do anything but stay in the chair. She never seemed to show any sign of trying to recover. Hell, apparently the Birds of Prey tangled with R'as al Ghul and Babs told Black Canary to take a dip in the Lazarus Pit to restore her Canary Cry. So why didn't she just take a dip and get her legs back?

...Sorry. I just really think they treated Barbara like crap for too long. Nothing against the other two Batgirls.

wile true dont forget marvel has pushed more books over dc i.e the new gotg, iron man, thor, avengers wile dc just forces batman and superman on us wile a hero like green arrow suffers and green lantern is becoming a hit and miss from what i have been hearing and i havent been reading since i stopped at like issue 10.

marvel has a smart stradegy that dc needs to follow because each new film marvel does they try to get the people interested by releasing some form of comic for that particular film. look at the digital free comics for gotg. they may be very short but they have been gaining my attention

MK doesn't really dive into sexuality like that though. To be frank, the only thing sexual about MK were the outfits on the female characters but that says nothing about their sexuality. They all could be lesbians.

DC is different due to the vast amount of storylines and characters in the multiple universes.

DC isn't really they're top priority for WB. They own the rights to Harry Potter and CNN as well. Yes, they're going to have departments to work with DC, but I doubt the higher ups want to hear about a Hawkman movie that may or may not take off.

Last month, Batgirl outsold book like Superman and Thor. Her book is also the consistant top selling Bat-book that doesn't feature Batman. I'd say her popular extends beyond being part of the family.

At the end of the day, if the DLC doesn't sell, it's not doing it's job. You can make all the requests you want, but if they can't sell the first season of DLC, how do you expect them to release another one?
For the record, I wanted Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, Poison Ivy, and (insert Flash villain) for DLC.
