[RUMOR] GET OVER HERE? 4 DLC Characters Revealed

At the end of the day, if the DLC doesn't sell, it's not doing it's job. You can make all the requests you want, but if they can't sell the first season of DLC, how do you expect them to release another one?
For the record, I wanted Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, Poison Ivy, and (insert Flash villain) for DLC.

I can't help you if you think an internet poll is an accurate statistic for how well a product will sell. I'm not saying that Batgirl is guarenteed to sell well. I AM saying that she's a safe, logical choice for a character that will sell.

Let's not act like the results would be very different.

Yes, most people have internet. That being said, most people use their internet for online social media like Facebook and Twitter, not forums and internet polls. Comicvine is just one of many comic book forums, it is a very popular, but still not an accurate assessment of what is going to sell. Most creators (for videogames or comic books) will point out that much out.

as a member of the LGBT community i shall say - you're right Batwoman is mostly popular because of her being lesbian and yeah she is iconic to lesbians just like Northstar became iconic since he was one of the first gay characters in Marvel and in comics generally!

But does she have more going for her then just being gay? Cause that's something that bugs me about making a character to appeal to someone, people act like they can only be one thing and nothing more.

yes I do but than again MK doesn't have any gay characters so i don't think they would include one in Injustice haha and u know the gay characters i would really love to see would be Midnighter and Apollo really! they would be badass!

To be fair most kombatants in MK either are too busy fighting to hook up or have no interest in sex. Other then Shao Khan, Brakka, Mellina, Lu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sindel and Kitna have any of them ever made mention of having a partner/hooked up with someone/ tried hooking up? Even in non cannon endings?

MK doesn't really dive into sexuality like that though. To be frank, the only thing sexual about MK were the outfits on the female characters but that says nothing about their sexuality. They all could be lesbians.

DC is different due to the vast amount of storylines and characters in the multiple universes.

I will say this though, the female characters alone are gay appeal! Female characters > male characters. Always.

I wouldn't be surprised. Then again I also wouldn't be surprised if NRS came out and said several of the men are gay and are being dead serious.

Say what you will about Rain's purple suit or Kenshi's futuristic bodysuit but at least they are wearing SOME kind of armor and not running in with an open vest and no T-shirt leaving their vital organs exposed to Scorpion's spear like Kung Lao.

I agree it's a fighting game, including someone because they are gay doesn't make sense though it is kinda cool seeing a part of urself presented in things - that is why i will always say for comic books, movies, and books usually gay characters are very important.

But anyways, sexual orientation representation isn't exactly necessary in a game like Mortal Kombat. It'd be fucking awesome (so long as the bitch ain't some beefed up nelly bottom in a sailor's outfit. Ain't no one here for that cruiseline shit. If they're bringing in the camp then it better be a queen and the bitch better serve it) but not vital to the MK storyline.

Afterall, the focus is less on the characters themselves but more at the threat at hand.
