They won't add Scorpion. They wouldn't do that. This worrying about it is worthless, I'm telling you. They MIGHT do a "guest" character, but it wouldn't be from MK. They're trying to establish this as completely different, they're so stupid as to pull a move that COMPLETELY undermines that, no matter your opinion of NRS. This list is, at least by one character, fake.

I REALLY hope this isn't true. I agree that another Batman character isn't needed. I'd personally like to see Powergirl or Zatanna as the female character (if they do like MK and have 3 males and 1 female, that is).
But really, Scorpion? Like we know that Ed Boon is pretty much in love with him, but we really do not need MK characters with DC characters again. We saw how that went last time...
I am just hoping that Martian Manhunter is in there somewhere.

games have datelines, sometimes whole characters get cut off and it's not the developers fault.

thats a load of bs and you know it. nowadays dlc is nothing more than microtransactions and a quick money grab so developers can put out a decent game ( dead space 3 mass effect 3) and sell the endings and story missions for a extra 15 bucks

the issue with dlc nowadays is it gives companies an excuse to put out a non complete title only to sell the rest to gain a profit

I love how everyone is acting like if this is true then NRS is solely responsible. Even if it is real you can't say it's entirely NRS fault, they could have very easily had a much better lineup and then DC Comics came in and had the final say.

These are there characters after all and from what fans have told me DC Comics has been making a lot of bad choices.

i dont by that and besides batgirl of all charachters isnt a big seller. bat woman however is ( not saying i want her either) but if and only if dc got involved in the final say it would be do to what book is selling higher and what charachter is most payed attention to

Look, I'm not saying NRS should never get flack for bad choices, far from it. I'm just saying that this time we aren't just dealing with NRS but another company as well and bad decisions can be made when they don't agree on some things.

Batgirl IS one of DC's top selling books right now. She's a lot more popular than you think. Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) is being featured in multiple DC books and DC animated shorts right now. She was even big back when she was in a wheelchair.

Totally agree but datelines exist nonetheless, and thats the reason I think Grundys chain throws seems unfinished .

as a member of the LGBT community i shall say - you're right Batwoman is mostly popular because of her being lesbian and yeah she is iconic to lesbians just like Northstar became iconic since he was one of the first gay characters in Marvel and in comics generally!

Mass Effect 3 wasn't a victim of the developers. It was a victim of the publisher. EA screwed the game over. And no matter what you think games have deadlines that they HAVE to meet unless the publisher decides otherwise. If the developers say "We need another three weeks" and the publisher says no, then guess what, content gets either axed or pushed to DLC. Plain and simple, DLC is typically bonus stuff that you don't have to pay money for if you don't want to. I do want to because I like supporting the developers.

DLC is just a way to exploit gamers especially in the case of fighting games if its just extra content in Arkham City then whatever I guess but when its something like fighting games or SFxT where half the damn roster is DLC thats some bullshit, you have to get those characters if not you're already at a disadvantage

casey hudson and mac walters gave the final say on the finished product wich led to the backlash without any form of input from the rest of the team.

during the whole backlash neither hudson nor walters gave a comment but hid until the extended cut was released.

i used to post on masseffect.com and you can usually talk to the creators director producer ect but they were gone during that shit storm

you would be suprised at the things people have said wich was insane for a game

i wasnt one of those people but some did wish death upon those guys

True but I feel like its all just to milk the gamer I don't wanna play as Lobo but Ill buy him so I can learn him and learn to fight him I understand tho cash rules everything around these people.

On the topic of MMH and weather or not he'll be 1st wave Arturo said in stream chat that he knew the 4 characters and lots of people would be surprised, being that everyone was so sure he'd make it Id say that qualifies as a surprise

yeah coz obviously making unwanted copy characters is gonna make people buy the DLC hoping that they make a decent DLC with the real requested characters
Coz again i am not even gonna say MMH coz it's too obvious, but batgirl is nowhere to be seen in DLC requests for the game really - very rare, i don't know how popular she is (i dont read bat comics) but i am sure that Zatanna, Canary, Blue Beetle, Swamp Thing, Captain Cold, Gorilla Grodd, Darkseid, Brainiac and many others are much much more requested which means they are much much more popular. And really noone in GP knows or cares for Batgirl except maybe that her name is BATgirl and that she must be Batman's friend or something but really she as a seperate character is not what i'd call one of the most popular ones in DC!

This one forum site isn't a very good test sample for popularity. NRS was most likely developing the DLC character since the time the game was announced last year, so I doubt any requests made here had a large impact on the choices. Each character takes a good amount of time to develop whether they have similar powers to a pre-existing character or not.

As for those other characters you listed. I love most of them, but they can't hold a book (save for Swamp Thing) and Batgirl can, if that says anything. She's been in Batman TAS, The Batman, and Young Justice, as well as the Adam West Batman show where she was seen as somewhat of a feminist icon (not on par with Wonder Woman, of course). It's likely they hope her inclusion will draw in more female gamers.

yes I do but than again MK doesn't have any gay characters so i don't think they would include one in Injustice haha and u know the gay characters i would really love to see would be Midnighter and Apollo really! they would be badass!
