Hey guys. It's ya boy Kunai aka Dreadz. Now I got injustice the day it dropped like alot of you. Yeah I should have pre-ordered it i know. But listen a few weeks ago while extensively playing mk. My ps3 shut off. I could turn it back on with no problem though. Yesterday it turned off while extensively playing. I could turn it back on again with no problem again. And play extensively. I have it in a corner of my room on a stand but i moved it because of thinking that it may be overheating. It may be a self defense mechanism for the system to turn off when it gets too hot. I thought it had more then enough space to ventilate(it will now tho!). I have the 320 gb system i bought back in 2011. Its my baby for real(No life). When I finish my college work I come home and play like a madman. I know it isnt bricked cause it works perfectly fine like a boss tho. But what I am scared of is that it may start turning off more often. I'm gonna start letting it rest like a baby from now on. Enjoy injustice guys but please take care of your system. If you all have any suggestions for me please feel free to let me know. It's still a great ps3. I just want to take care of it better. Ima start by dusting it off more than i do. But anyways. See me on injustice. I main joker and shazam right now. They are my strongest. My other is adam. Harley and CW will also be in my arsenal. Cw has ALOT of combo strings. She's like the skarlet of injustice lol. I would love to mirror someone with joker and shazam tho. Again enjoy injustice. Let me leave you with these words.

i got something like that myself.9Talking about the ps3) it's awesome trying to get a 500GB too. But good advice man. I'll keep it in mind.

Your system is overheating. Sounds like you may need a fan replacement soon or possibly a reflow. Not sure if you're from NY, but regardless, The Gamers Edge can fix that for you.

I haven't had a chance to really play much because of school. I've not been online at all. I want to finish story mode first, but I'll play you when I get a chance man!

Ok. Two more questions. Does that mean the fan is completely not working or is it running slow? And I've been unplugging it almost every day since we were robbed in December and locking it away. Could that be the problem??? I mean I wait till it turns off to unplug it.

1. Usually it means that its dying. The other possibility is that the thermal paste/solder is beginning to crack causing less contact between the GPU and the heat sync meaning even if the fan is fine, the system will overheat. This will eventually lead to a YLOD and need a fix regardless.

2. Unplugging it won't cause a problem.
