Chris G Thoughts on Injustice and Characters at Texas Showdown

This guy looks kind of tuff...
For those of you who missed it.. chris g talked about injustice after the mk9 tournament at Texas showdown as well as answered questions from the chat about the game. He really knows the game well already from testing it, and
-gives a lot of info on characters and what they can do. round ups on what a char will be good at as well as what is bad about them
-thoughts on DLC
-Thoughts on interactables and how they will effect the game.
-which chars will be the best at zoning as well as counter zoning.
-best chars so far as well as who will need a day 1 nerf.
-who he will be using (first tournament for him will be Civil war)
-pig advantage (it exist ppl!)

He definetly knows his stuff and also mentioned winning a tournament between the testing crew.

Thanks I appreciate the link. Chris G really inspired me to main Reptile. I like always loved Reptile, but I wasn't very good at him in MK9. Seeing Chris G play really inspired me to get good at the character. I am really glad too.

Anyone kind enough to give a short written summary?
What does he say about Arrow, Grundy and Flash ? (Guys I am looking at using first up)

he says he will be using arrow as his main for the most part as he really likes archer characthers... also says he counterpicks hawkgirl and beats her pretty bad. He talked to me about flash and how he was nerfed a lil bit too much where he does not do any damage with his trait. i cant remember what he said about grundy..
its a really long talk.. very in deph.. youll have to watch the entire thing.

It's really interesting to see how a lot of the testers vary on who they think is top tier.. Like Chris thinks superman is bad while pig says he's top 5

well chris said he played the majority of the chars unlike most of the testers who went.. as well as played 12 hours a day for a entire week.. i spoke to him offstream and he knows so much already. and with his history and how good he is in not only marvel, but multiple games.. i respect a lot of his opinions.. but who knows what will happen in the future.

he told me how superman was alright.. but once you play the char for like a week you will not want to use him because hes pretty bland

It's why he played Hawkeye in Marvel for so long. He went on a whole rant about how he loves archers and hates characters with "big dumb swords" after his demo quick look on fingercramp's stream, it was funny.

Tom brady going to main a broken character when the game is release. Didnt this happend with mk9? Time to nerf aquaman lol

I watched it during the stream. He basically said Aquaman and Batman are OP. I didn't catch it all though.

Chris G, Art, etc tested for 10-12 days. All of us only had about 10-12 days on the game at NRS. This is the extent of the testers not NRS staff.

Those testers NEVER played the final retail, patched, or hotfixed copy. They came from a world of Sinestro + on everything, Superman and Nightwing block infinites, Aquaman 100% safe on all attacks, etc etc..

Because I was involved with the book, I actually got to play the retail build along with PL and CDjr for several weeks longer then any part time tester.

I then was then able to later on play the patched version of the game so I could make any updates to the book and any corrections that NRS sent over to prima. I then got more time on the patched version because I made several videos to be used in the Injustice app at some point.

I'm telling you all this for 3 reasons..
1. There are a few people who already know this and day 1 they will cry "WOW.. DAT NIKKA PLAYED DA GAME THOUGH.. DAT NIKKA USING BROKE CHARACTERS YO"

2. This community is known for its "witch hunts", and you are going to know I worked on the guide and the vids for the app anyway because my name is in the book and my voice is on the vids. So, I might as well come out with it now so it never gets brought up after tournaments start up and people find out my involvement.

3. A lot of the info you get from the part time testers is based off of a version of the game that no longer exists and is actually incorrect info. There "broken" characters have long since been changed.
